Sydney is so natural and knowledgeable as an announcer. They should get her on TV more. The dude announcer sounds so fake,in comparison,like he's trying to be like Rob Stone or something. His comments are awkward and cringey, but Sydney lets him in. Very professional.

Hey, i am seeing a lot of criticism about the new commentary. Yes, he is very lively, but that doesn't make it bad. Maybe our sport needs more excitement in the commentary. We aren't playing golf people. If you bowl a league you can bowl with a commentator.

The Title Match of the Pwba Southern Indiana Open was one of the Best Matches of the 2024 Season on the Pwba Tour.

I guess I'm one of the only ones who likes the new guy. He is up beat and feels more like a big network commentator. It gave me that national network feel.

Okay, I didn’t like him at first, but he grew on me, while he was commentating and he made it exciting. He was having the time of his life and he was making the best of it!!!

The ladies bowled really well, but these lanes were blocked. I mean, Jordan Richards bowled a 259 and lost. Every other woman who bowled had at least a 4 bagger or 6 bagger. It was just a matter of who was able to hit the pocket with the best angle and power and carry the strikes. If you executed, and the breaks didn't go against you, you struck. That said, I'm not saying that your average league bowler could step up and bowl like this. Just saying that the lane conditions were super easy, and professional bowlers of this caliber are just going to crush the scores.

The "New" guy is too talkative. Like a bowling Howard Cosell! My biggest annoyance: He doesn't keep quiet when the athlete is at the line. Most of us appreciate quiet then,- to appreciate the player's concentration, poise, approach, and the shot. I saw this whole match and had to mute the sound! If he did that at the Lanes; he'd get decked. Very annoying. He doesn't have to mention, ..."and she leaves a pin!" Really?! That is totally observable! Emil Williams, Jr. Is a class act! He is a gentleman, His intro is pleasant, informed, calm, and he is more comfortable with relaying key points/elements of the game without being overwhelming. What I LOVE about Williams is his smooth and easy coverage style. This fellow even has Sydney talking more than spectators care to hear,-----Annnd.....he (Emil Williams Jr.) Understands, that observers enjoy seeing the player prepare for, and execute his shot without Noise or BS chat. I like hearing "Key" points; not this overwhelming blabber!!!

Does bowling really need color commentary? This guy’s bowling knowledge seems quite limited.

You can clearly hear somebody feeding information on what to say to the guy who's commentating. So unprofessional. Now I don't even wanna listen to the broadcast. I had to watch it on mute. LOL

the dude is a total dork. he is too hyper since he's probably not a true bowler and/or fan. get the other guy back. 😕
