Decisions, decisions…this year I bought a planner off Amazon, not realizing it was one for teachers like June through this Dec but I used it, which says a lot. This year I’m searching for something more creative than functional. Thank you for your video. I liked the take a note ❤

Love all of your planner ideas!! I’m using my empriente LV passport cover with sterling ink inserts for quick notes and on the go writing when I’m traveling , my Hon a6 for painting in and my Hobonichi cousin for everyday life and journaling

I love the TAN. I purchased two A5 and one B6. I think you should keep one of each size for your covers. I am interested in an A6 size, but I’ll use a Stalogy for that since I won’t be consistent with it. The Pink Sterling ink passport is gorgeous. Make sure to keep that.

How do you feel about the grid size in the Tan? I am uncertain. The pink Sterling ink is so so cute I cannot decide what to do!

I have the same Sterling ink compact horizontal. I can’t wait to see how you set it up! I’ve been practicing with a stalogy A5 cut down and it’s been a dream.

I got the A5 Take a Note to try. I like parts of it. I also got the Hobonichi Cousin Hon Cats. Love it! But I don’t know cause I’ve been using Jibun Techo & it has been my dream. So I have those 3 planners. I’ll definitely be using Hobonichi & Jibun Techo. Not sure about TAN.

A bit of both, but mostly function! I’ve managed to narrow things down but my setup isn’t totally “done” yet! How about you?

I got the hemlock and oak daily and weekly

Keep the stirling ink in that TN cover love that I think you should keep the standard and the hobonichi for sure I love my rings I carry both rings and book and TNS I have lots of choice’s but that’s what I love

I use a passport tn monthly with the a6 hobonichi supplement as my everyday carry. Next year I’m using the vertical weekly sterling ink instead of the supplement and I’m adding an a6 HON for journaling.

I’m waiting for my 2024 planner to get here tomorrow- I’m using the Take a Note A5 (again)! I have 3 journals on top of that for different subjects/parts of my life that I’ve been using since 2023 and will continue to use. Basically my set up is staying the same- I almost got the Kinbor a5 daily instead though.

I really do think your focusing wayy too much on the looks of your planners though, you think everything is cute lmao I would get rid of anything you don’t have a real reason or plan for- the staology would be nice to finish.

Yea realistically I can do one, maybe two options to switch between for planning if they’re functionally different and then one journal. So that’s why this video happened bc I have a lot of decisions to make! What are the 3 different topics you journal about?

May I ask where you got tan pen in the beginning when you put in pen holder....thx

Probably the uni one pen? I might have bought it in Japan but you can also get it from jetpens!

My suggestion: use the rings and TN as a catchall and to-go ... I love my rings because i can add ANY insert i want in it and can make it work for me no matter what. It lets me try new layouts and see what works best for me.. it saves me money because there are a sh*t ton of free printables... You def have a new subscriber with me... As soon as you said "I feel like i just bought this because of the cute 2024 stickers.... Im a psycho" 😂😂 i knew you needed to be apart of my planner tribe!!! Lol

Hahaha yes!!!! I’m so glad you’re here! I’m definitely leaning towards a rings + bookbound something combo so I’m hoping eventually I’ll decide which thing and not keep everything else 😂😂. I always want to love rings and it’s fun to do pretty setups but it never lasts long unfortunately!

Does the HON fit in the Gillio with a clear cover on it?

All the thoughts LOL! I stay confused. Let's not talk about notebooks. I'm curious about Take a Note. I like the layout but I know I couldn't do A6. The Standard TN is cuuutttee! I'd probably use that. You know what I'm going to say what you should do...B6 Stalogy! I feel that's your happy place. I watching/listening to this as I'm writing in 2-3 planners HA! Book bound planners have really caught my eye but I'm not giving up my discs! Not sure if I want another Hobonichi Weeks or a different Weeks style planner. Thanks for sharing!

The take a note layout is so cool! I am just not sure I can deal with that grid size. Yea that stalogy is always so easy and comfortable!! I’ve been confused most of this year about my planners anyway so it’s all fine hahahaha. You should try one bookbound for fun!

I’m in the same problem. I’m just confused. I said I was going to use a5 rings for 2024. Now I don’t know what I’m going to use.

@@Bunnyplans I have so many planners that I’ve been getting for free and I have so many undated inserts. I normally go with C&P VERTICAL weekly but I’m getting bored of that. I find myself not planning as much towards the end of the year because of boredom 🤣

I love the Sterling Ink in the regular size with the cover :) I have also bought so many planners (courtesy of my credit card - feel totally unhinged - it’s as if I think finding the perfect planner combos will magically sort out my life for me 😂) love this video xxx

Notion is a nice app but sometimes I like something on paper! :)

The planner community has become way too wasteful; wasting money; wasting paper and wasting time on things that don’t work for them. There was a time when the community was about individuality and creativity and now everyone want the same; the same planners; the same stickers; the same handwriting. It’s like everyone is suffering from a debilitating case of FOMO. They want to buy all the things just to say they have all the things. And then they have to planner hop because they bought all the things without figuring out what actually works for them. From the look of this video; the Stalogy is your sweet spot; you seem to thrive in that notebook. As a stationery lover I can understand the pull to want to buy and use all the things, but I don’t have the desire to waste my time or money on things that don’t work for me. I tend to stick to one dated planner for my actual planner and then undated notebooks for everything else. I wish you luck on finding what works best for you. I hope you don’t abandon that beautiful stalogy.

Thanks for your thoughts and your compliments to my stalogy! Totally understand what you mean about the community. I can fall into the hype sometimes but I know at the end of the day whatever works for me is what I’ll gravitate towards. It is fun to try new things but there is definitely a limit to it too. I personally allow myself to buy something (and my budget typically allows) if it is less than $50 and I have spent days/weeks and many many hours researching/agonizing over something. I never let myself impulse shop and if it gets to that point I usually have probably made carts a million times, agonized over decisions, watched like 30 hrs of KZread videos , etc and if I feel like it’s okay id rather just buy something and use my time more productively 😂. It may be stupid but it is just what has worked for me in recent years with buying “fun” things in my life. And I know honestly my fave hobby is to buy things for my hobbies 😂😂😂😂. Not the most financially sound strategy but I just am who I am LOL
