I love your cousin! I have received alot of inspiration from it! I will be using one next year for the first time. Can't wait to get started. I even ordered some of your sticker kits for it already! Bring on 2021! Hope you get one for 2021!

Your planner is so beautiful and inspiring. I am so in love your with your creativity, designs and ideas. I am going to treat myself to a Louis Vuitton planner for my birthday this year. I was going to go with a LV ring planner and skip the hobo this year, but you’ve inspired me to go back to a Hobonichi. BTW, your planning, and creativity are inspiring! Thank you for giving me a kick in the booty to keep on planning. TY

Thanks for the inspiration! I've bought my Hobonichis for next year and am going to use the Cousin as my main planner, so I've been looking for ideas on how to use the different layouts - I will definitely be stealing some of these! 😁Also, thanks for the reminder about Josephine Bow - I bought some of her calendar headers last year, and have just ordered ones for 2021!

I love your planners, especially when you use the hobonichi cousin and Stalogy. I really like your august usage of the daily pages. I’d like to primarily journal in mine next year. I’ve been using the blank page at the beginning of the month for gratitude. Before that, I used it as a master task list.

I love that idea to use it for gratitude. I did do some little gratitude blurbs on certain pages, but I just kinda go with the flow of how the day goes 🤷🏻‍♀️ I liked the august pages too! I sort of fell off of it more days as time went on. It’s sad but Im trying not to be too concerned about it

@@Bunnyplans in the past when I’d fall off I wouldn’t go back. This year, if I missed a week, I didn’t worry about making it up. I filled up more than ever doing it that way. Give yourself grace. Right?

How did you cover the hobonichi with the paper? Did you glue it to the inside of the planner? If so, what kind of glue. Thank you

I just tucked the paper into the clear jelly cover! No adhesive!

@SueBerry yes they do I have the same exact set like hers except you can't have A jelly cover on it with both sides tucked in but your going to Love the desk agenda cover on your cousin

I don’t put both covers in, that’s just my preference. Thank you @msbeebee for letting us know it doesn’t work with a jelly cover!

I like how you use your book all year, great video! But I don’t understand why if you don’t write in it that it’s sad or depressing SMH… I mean life does happen. We’re not trapped on these pages. I always give myself grace and not punish myself if I go a few days without writing something because otherwise it turns into a tedious task for me and I don’t ever want that for my planner life.

I agree with that wholeheartedly! I don’t get upset about it but I know I would also like it if there were more filled pages/filled out areas. It’s fun to look at, hehe, but I won’t beat myself up if it’s not!

My hobonichi doesn’t fit as snug as your video. What did you do to make fit?

Sorry I missed this comment! Do you have the Avec? If so that’s why. Or do you mean how it fits when you tuck it inside? The fit is probably because of the jelly cover and how puffy the cousin gets as you use

Mine just came in the mail, I'm used to the weekly layout, but I wanted to step up to the cousin because I might be stepping up in my career (my boss asked if I was interested in becoming a manager and I was so excited after the initial interview that it gave me the will to buy a more expensive planner) "Plan for the position you want!" Right? XD

Oh sorry I misread your previous comment. I used the Sakura jelly roll in white and the pentel sign pen brush pen is the black background :) I got both from Michaels but they should be available at most craft or stationery shops

The paper looks really thin? How does the paper compare to an Erin Condren or Plum Paper?

Hobonichi uses tomoe river paper which is a very thin paper, not at all similar to EC or Plum Paper. People say it’s like bible paper but I’m not familiar. People really like tomoe river paper for paints and while it can be challenging with some pens it really is a special paper!

It should be fine! It tends to be gel pens that take longer to dry on the paper so you could smear it but the Frixion wouldn’t have that issue

I’ve been using the stalogy on and off since 2018! It’s my comfort zone 🤷🏻‍♀️ plus I like that it fits in more purses!

@@Bunnyplans oh, ok. if I'm not to much of a pain, may I ask what makes you venture off away from the stalogy every now and again? I'm only asking because I've always used a hobonichi or as of this past year, a wonderland 222 style planner and I really think I want to switch to using a stalogy but I'm not sure if maybe there's some downsides that I'm not seeing...

Sometimes I like not having to draw layouts but generally I switch bc I either want more space or am tempted by something else. Usually when I feel most comfortable in a planner is when I want to try something else! 🤦🏻‍♀️
