@@mannyoliveira776 Considering the situation with Z is unstable and the fact that teams don’t decide who they draft based on power play but but rather top 6 needs as well as depth and so love when they have enough talent for two competitive power play units… I believe you are mistaken. They have need at RW. When looking forward they will want depth on that side. They also gain a high IQ playmaker that can take advantage of McTavish’s one timer without moving him to the wing. The truth is that they have to consider who will both impact the team (Demidov has massive upside) and fit a plan to maximize the utility of the players around them and stability of the core the team can protect long term. You can protect 7 forwards. You may only protect 3 Defenders. I happen to have a lot of clients in my business from the team and the read I am getting is the team is very aware of this and very high on Luneau, Mintyukov and Zellweger. I know for a fact that they have been looking deeply into forwards including Demidov for some time.

I hope Chicago picks Demidov to play with Bedard. Do it Hawks!

I feel like I can practically guarantee you that Demidov is the pick, it just feels so obvious to me Chicago picking Levshunov would be like MTL picking Reinbacher on steroids. It’s a fine player but you’re just ignoring some of the sheer potential available to you. And a Demidov-Bedard duo would be absolutely unbelievable if Demidov works out, probably will end up better statistically than Kane-Toews did as a duo honestly

It makes absolutely no sense for the Flyers to take Sennecke. They already have Konecny, Michkov, Tippett, Foerster, Brink and Hathaway at RW. It's literally the LAST position they would draft. They need a number 1 defenseman and a number 1 center, so there's no chance they take Sennecke over Yakemchuk. No chance.

I agree completely, especially since michkov a winger will be over next year. Flyers will not be picking Sennecke.

The Flyers have Florida’s first round pick unless something changed.

Buffalo already has Krebs, Savoie, and Benson. I do not see the logic in selecting Catton, who is another undersized player. They need more presence on the blue line.

The answer to your qualm is that he is a true center. The next best center in the organization after Cozens is Ostlund!! All these other impressive but undersized forwards we’ve drafted have turned out to be wingers, but there is a LOT of Brayden Point in Catton. In most other drafts the kid would be top 5. He’s not 5’8 like a Benson

@deniskuka4843 you take the best player available at #2 overall. Levshunov is not the best player. I'd be more on levshunovs side if Vlasic never developed as good as he did. But we need scoring goals and Demidov's IQ and play making is un matched in this draft. Kucherov like player

this early in the draft you pick the best player available, Demidov could be as big as Draisaitl in frame, buddy is bulking up. the 18th should be by position or traded either up or down or used to acquire someone like Chychrun (Luke Richardson’s Nephew)

If the Flyers take Sennecke they better be trading some of there other 1,000 RW’s.

I definitely think Helenius makes the top 10. He was so good in a league of men already, plus he’s got size and a great two way game. I think he’s gonna be taken earlier than most expect.

There is 2 ways to look at it. Follow the oilers route and have 2 superstar forwards and build around it. Or follow the Avs and have a superstar forward and a superstar D and build around it. I personally think have one up front and one on the back end is a better way to balance your team. But that’s just me.

If the Hawks pass on Levshunov I "really" hope the Ducks and Verbeek take Demidov. I know Anaheim would probably prefer Levshunov since they need another future top four RD but they also need another strong winger. Demidov would fill that role very well.

Habs will take the Reinbacher's type pick of this year's draft, a late bloomer, project, that no one had mid 1st round at the beginning of the year. I'm talking about Sennecke. I can totally see it coming. A 3rd 1st round pick under the Hughes era that will upset the fans 😂 Again. Not saying Gorton and Hughes didn't draft the right guy. But so far they went off the board a bit and go against the "consensus". It paid off with Slafkovsky, Reinbacher shows lots of potential. Sennecke could be a great potential too. But again, not what the Habs fans want

Best mock I have seen. Crushed it. logic just flows one pick to the next that I feel guaranteed Flames end up with Dickinson at this point

I like Zeev Buium as the Sens 1st. I hope Sacha Boisvert is still available for Ottawa late in the 1st round.

Eiserman won't drop nearly that far. If he did, he would be the BPA by a mile at #17 and Washington's 2nd greatest need is a goal scoring LW (just behind a top pair offensive RHD) No chance they pass on him at 17 if he's available but he'll be gone by then.

I'd be happy if the Habs took Silayev and then package Harris along with another prospect and the 26th pick and trade for a scoring winger.

​@tylerw7847 I disagree. 0 offense is wrong. You should check the stats before commenting. 6ft 7in... you can't practice or train for this. A possible future Chara/ Weber with wingspan that will make offensive players rethink the entry zone. Yes, I can definitely jump on that idea. Also MTL is stack on the blue line and can definitely trade a few asset for elite offensive player. Silayev is my 2nd after Lindstron for MTL.

I don't think Eiserman slips past San Jose... Celebrini and him are buddies and if the Sharks have a chance to snatch him, they have two players who already know each other, already have chemistry, and if they don't sign Celebrini, will be playing for the same NCAA team next year, and I'm sure they'll both get signed the year after.

Stian the Man would be awesome for the Sharks.

It's funny because Catton always falls to the Sabres when it comes to predictions and it's not at their advantage 😂 another small player. In a way they almost don't have the choice to pass on him but geez they are small hahahha

There’s really not many centers at all The depth chart is Tage (to an extent, struggles at faceoffs/other C duties at times) Cozens Ostlund/Krebs Krebs/Ostlund Wahlberg Every small forward we have turned out to be a winger. Catton is built a lot more like Marner. He’s not dainty

My dream is a move up for Cayden Lindstrom but there’s honestly plenty of size in guys like Tage, Tuch, Greenway, Cozens, the D core, and some of the younger prospects. And the little guys sorta play like dogs on the forecheck when things are working out. Sabres just need to get more guys who are good enough at playing center, to actually play center. Catton has shown no reason to think he’ll move to the Wing, whereas a lot of our smaller guys played a good amount of Wing prior to getting drafted

Caps keep getting younger, I think you’re pick for them is valid, I think they will like a defenseman, but best player available is always the way to go .

The sabers need to take Solberg or Carter yamachuck we don't need another small forward

Do not sleep on Catton. The guy is thought of as a top-5 worthy player by many. There’s a lot of Brayden Point to him, and he’s a good 3 inches taller than guys like Benson. He’s gonna end up at like 5’11 185 and be fine. The important thing here is us getting a third line center finally. Catton is underrated 200 ft and has game changer potential offensively

Leafs need more size in their prospect pool. I Like Dean Letourneau or EJ Emery with that pick. While I prefer Emery being he's a right shot Dman with size. Letourneau as a Tage Thompson compatible would be welcome as well.

Kyle Davidson is believed to like Demidov a lot despite some FO people believe Lev should be the pick. Kyle always goes BPA. I doubt he steers clear of that philosophy especially when he’s drafting top 3

Flyers have been top-heavy with wingers for quite a few years now, they come out of this draft with a Center. They'll trade for a Center or draft for one on draft day. Wings and D are not their target atm, especially with Michkov coming over and no clear #1 or #2 Centers on the team. Coots is a 3rd line center now, folks need to understand this. This team is now Michkov's and they need to put pieces around him now, not Coots, not TK, they are no longer the future of the Flyers organization.

We definitely need a high end wing but if Chicago does take Demidov, Levshunov will fill that role of a potentially elite RD the Ducks still need. At this point I do think it would be a mistake for Verbeek to pass on Dmidov if he falls to third.

@@AnaheimRobI don’t know where you’re going to get your scoring from. Nathan Gaucher is a third liner at best. And after that Anaheim has no forwards they already made the team from its prospects. Unless Stamkos is signed I don’t know where the scoring is coming from

@@ducksgo The thing about young players is it takes a while. Zegras had a down year, but if he stays pencil him in for 65 plus points. Terry is roughly a 60 plus point per season player. McTavish has improved each year so expect more of that. Carlsson had a good rookie year and it is too bad he had injuries. He will be something special but it will take another year or two. Not sure where Gauthier as a third line player is coming from but every report I have seen on him the past two years has him pegged as a top six guy with potential to be a top line plyer. It will be his rookie season so doubtful he is a 60 point guy, but give him time. The ceiling for the Ducks young forwards hasn't even come close to being reached. They are going to be good! Even without a Demidov. The thing is like all prospects, young players usually take a few years at the professional level to start showing what they can really do. Most likely even after this draft the Ducks have at least one more season drafting in the top ten (next year) but it won't be much monger until they are lighting it up. The group being put together is looking really good even if they still need more time.

Man unicorn RHD is a lot of hyperbole even if you like Levshunov as a player. He’s not some 6’3 220 guy. I have a strong feeling that Buium and maybe even Sam Dickinson go before him. Lev is very very solid but he’s like 6’1 200 and isn’t the most physical specimen in the draft. I see an outcome where his floor is Buffalo at 11, though they rly should pick a Catton/Helenius

Things change, especially after the combine...then there was that "mini" combine in Miamai. Also trades get made before the draft they may impact how it goes with certain teams and of course that can create a domino effect.

If he did one early mock and one just prior to draft, the picks and opinions would be more valuable. Supply and demand. If you do 20 drafts instead of 2, the value of each one is ten times less than the minimal approach. Comments are for sharing opinions. So i commented, do you need more explanation or you good now?
