The more i think about it, the sharks should stay at 14. With all the last minute risers, there will be multiple good players available. Then we can use 2 early 2nd round picks as well

Just stay at 14, Senneke is a great player , maybe wait for next year draft a defenseman, yakemchuk would be a great pick though

I do like Sennecke if he's there at 14. But what do you think is a realistic trade package to trade up to get Buium or Parekh? Would it have to be 14 + 33 + Bords or Goose for ta pick in the 6-10 range?

If it's to move up to the 9-10 range most likely it's the 14th pick and both 2nds. If it's 11-12 range, probably the 14th and the 33rd pick. I'm not so keen on making either of those trades. If none of the big 6 D are available at 14, u take BPA and there will be some solid top 4 d prospects that you can draft with the 2 2nd round picks

Clearly, but those are overpays teams are willing to make to guarantee they draft the players they want. Look no further than what Chicago did a few days ago. Gave up a 2nd round pick just to move up 2 spots in the 1st round and it wasn't even in the top 15. Doug Wilson also made a similar move back in 2013 when he drafted Mirco Mueller.

Depends on who’s there at 11-12, if Buium is still around by some miracle then I’d overpay for him if it Buffalo or Philadelphia is willing

No chance the caps do that… maybe they would consider it for 14 and quentin musty, but I don’t know if they would even do that, and I don’t think the sharks say yes to that either.
