Kool Aid is a very good lockdown corner. He doesn’t get a lot of ints but he gets a lot of PBU’s which is why he is mocked as a 1st rounder. He is very good now and is less of a developmental size guy than someone like Terrion Arnold or Nate Wiggins.

I mean this is a stacked receiver class, and if the picks are there it makes sense for the cards to do it

If the Falcons draft anyone other than Dallas Turner with the 8th overall pick then it's a big missed opportunity. Our defense was ranked 11th last year (ahead of a lot of playoff teams) and a pass rusher has been the missing link for a while.

As a Husky fan, I’d be super happy to see Penix go to the Raiders! They have a solid O-line and talented receivers, good head coach and offensive coordinators, which is EXACTLY what Penix needs to succeed. As long as he stays healthy, like he did under good offensive coordination last 2 seasons, he could really put up some strong rookie numbers. OROY? Probably not. But he could impress a lot of people.

I want to know when it became a negative for a guy to be over the age of 21 at the QB position. It's a position where you don't really get good til your mid 20's. Joe Burrow was 23 when he was drafted and no one is saying that the Bengals shouldn't have picked him #1 because he is absolutely the guy in that offense. So you get 2-3 years less of the guy in a career, 10 years of what you hope to be elite franchise QB is still a great thing to have.

I am sure that you worked for the Jets during the Rich Kotite years as their draft guy, Barry.

I don’t think Johnny newton will be taken before Byron Murphy but I do think that he’s the better interior d lineman. He was the most dominant defensive player in the big ten last year while playing the back half of the year with a broken foot

The chargers would pretty much hold the first pick at that point so a simple first and some bum picks definitely won’t be enough
