2024 NBA Mock Draft 4.0: BucketMedia (1-14)
Спорт
In this video, I put out my fourth installment of the 2024 NBA Mock Draft and will only go through picks 1 through 14…
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We are about 3 months away from the 2024 NBA Draft and since my last mock draft a lot has changed. There have been guys who shot up the board that came out of nowhere into my top 6 like Rob Dillingham and Reed Sheppard while coincidently teammates like DJ Wagner and Justin Edwards have fallen off my board completely. Upperclassmen like Dalton Knecht and Devin Carter have played their ways into the later part of the lottery after having quality seasons so far and have all of March to further boost their stocks. Pros like Ron Holland and Alex Sarr have maintained their positions at the top of the draft while everything is still wide open and up for grabs. While there still is a lot that could happen, this is my 4th 2024 mock draft.

Stephon Castle?
I feel like Buzelis has the dog. His words about Risacher playing him 1v1 and the way he took it to Brandon Miller during the Rising Stars have me convinced. Just seems like he's got that Larry Bird "I'm going to show you better than I can tell you"

He’s top 5 and will remind people too much of Franz Wagner to pass up.

I really hope that the Spurs pick Matas Buzelis. Buzelis and Wemby would be awesome together
I just don't get these Nikola Topic comps to SGA. He's not nearly as quick or athletic as Shai or as good defensively. He's got tall Goran Dragic written all over him. And that's not even a bad thing Dragic was a really nice player and had a long career.

Dragic could also shoot from the perimeter...
@stevenpage8571

@@dillamadukes21 , true but he did have some years he was inconsistent. I'm not saying it's a perfect comparison but it's definitely better than SGA. Plus he could end up improving as a shooter whereas I don't think he'll ever be as athletic as SGA and he's got a crafty style to his game like Dragic
Cody vs JDub Wemby vs Chet thast's the drama I need
I doubt that the Spurs would actually pick Rob Dillingham. They’ll take Sarr, Matas Buzelis, Risacher or Nikola Topic

Thank God your not a Gm cause you don't know anything😂
How does Portland not end up with the number five pick? On what are you basing these pick positions? And Knecht plays for Tennessee, not Kentucky. It is also unlikely Portland will select a guard.
Memphis is not drafting Shepherd
The Raptors are getting a top 6 pick
Spurs at 3 and 8 is nice! I'd take Risacher, Sarr or Topic first. I'd like Buzelis or Willams at 8 if we pick Topic. If we get Risacher or Sarr first then we can take one of the good guards that are all through this draft. Good chance Spurs will get 2 top 7 or 8 picks. All these combinations are very possible and Very exciting: Topic/Buzelis Risacher/Dillingham Sarr/Collier Risacher/Jakobe Sarr/Sheppard
I’m taking Terrence Shannon jr if I’m top 10 as long as I can find out something that makes it look like he won’t be found guilty. Dude is the best college guard I’ve seen play in a long time. He reminds me of like a lefty more shoot first John Wall with a better shot lol. He’s so elite
Knecht is gonna light it up at the next level. 🔥
This the first year ever im not hearing no hype around any prospects I remember back in the day when you would hear about players when they were still in middle school lol I remember hearing about and seeing highlights of andrew wiggins I remember hearing about ben simmons zion williamson luka lonzo ball and lamelo ball even last year I remember hearing about wemby and scoot this year i haven’t heard or seen any hype around any prospects i hear more about angel reese then any men’s college basketball team lol
Need buzelis for top 6 , a good high upside project for pacers pick , and Tristan de Silva at 31.. perfect raps draft 🔥
The grizzlies will happily pass on Sheppard 👎
dalton will be the steal of this draft
Topic and Sheppard are mid to late 1st rd picks, not lottery picks. Why would I take a smallish, below average athletic, bench player in the lotto. That’s a unimaginative pick when there are plus sized wings available to gamble on instead.
Sarr is just Evan Mobley all over again, which isn’t a bad thing.
@19DAY94

I think he projects to be a better JJJ & Mobley if we’re being honest
Great Video and insights. It looks like Toronto will keep their pick that is owed to the Spurs. They might pick 6th.

54% chance it goes to San Antonio if Raptors finish 6th worst. So mathematically more likely than not that SA still gets it...
Can we make that filipowski make sense
Spurs won't take Dillingham at #3. Size and defense isn't a fit with what they're looking for. The Cody Williams pick at #8 for the Spurs would be awesome though!

Best case scenario imo is the spurs getting risacher/williams and castle if they get the raptors pick matas wouldn’t be bad either

I'd love Spurs to get Risacher or Sarr first. There are plenty of good guards left if we have the Raptors pick too. If not maybe we'd just take Topic at 3

@@ddd9916 tru but there’s still a decent chance spurs get the pick it’s 50/50
On the stat sheet it doesn’t show it a lot but Anton Watson deserves a draft pick imo even if it’s second round. There’s not a game where he doesn’t showcase elite defending. He leads GU in deflection. And he blocks a lot of shots. Plus he is over 40% from 3 this year.
Ron Holland will likely go to the Detroit Pistons. He is physically and athletically ready for the NBA, and he has a coveted playmaking/ shot making and two-way play, great motor, and great positional size that will demand attention from scouts and dare to pass on his potential. His shooting is overblown as he has great form and touch just bad shot selection. The Pistons desperately need positional depth on the wing behind Ausar Thompson and Holland would be instant production off the bench.
Gotta wonder. Two Kentucky players get drafted before the first Connecticut player is chosen? Did I hear that right? If so, how did Kentucky have such a lower level team than Connecticut? TWO players in the top six? Shouldn't that lead to a deep run into the tournament? Maybe this is right. . . but I suspect that at least one of the Kentucky players will fail to live up to his high draft position.
The top 3 teams picking each have a 14.3% chance of getting the number 1 pick. So how it, that they always have San Antonio picking number 3? Washington/Detroit/San Antonio are weighted even for a top 3 pick. So let's say San Antonio wins the lottery once again and Washington moves to number 4, Portland moves to number 2 and Detroit get the 3rd pick. Possible?
The spurs desperately need a rebounder other than wemby. Pick zach edey at some point gang! Also Shepard would be awesome playing with wemby
for the spurs i pick topic
If the Spurs pulled this off, it would be an epic win.
Devin Carter is just Terry Rozier all over again. Which is…aight I guess.
Castle? Should be ahead of Devin Carter, at least.
Why would the grizzlies pick a guy that models 3 people already on the roster that’s better than him? No
Holland is just RJ Barrett all over again, but a better athlete. Which isn’t a bad thing.
imo sheppard is the clear #1 -- stockton meets curry

Dalton Knecht is just Chris Duarte all over again. Even down to the age factor. Not a bad pick if given a chance, that Duarte’s not really getting.

I watched everyone of his games at UT and I have to disagree. This guy is phenomenal. Averaged 25 in SEC play.
Spurs will not choose rob. Selecting a small guard subtracts from victors height advantage. An oversized guard makes their whole starting 5 oversized which is the obvious play
@dillamadukes21
3 ай бұрын
This is an idiotic take. The best guards of the last 20 years have been 6'3 and under. The spurs need perimeter scoring and play making. Rob has those qualities in abundance.
Dillingham isn’t better than Isaiah Collier
The Jazz are a top 10 offense and bottom 3 defense they better not take an offensive prospect who can’t play defense
Utah will not have the 5th pick LOL. As it stands it's currently the Trailblazers. Utah is currently 9th. Try taking a look at the standings.
The Pistons need a not so physical Bill Laimbeer type.😮😅😊😊
Donavan Clingan it’s just…Filipowski/Kaminskey, without the jumper. Career backup center. Not lotto pick worthy.
Memphis #15 David jones
Too fast and slow $$$ right
You should talk a little more about the players’ fit with the team rather than just focusing solely on the prospect.
Portland is not picking at 7. Most likely 1-4
Kyle Filipowski is just Frank Kaminsky all over again. Which is a bad thing…period.
Dillingham is just Malik Monk all over again. Which mite not be a bad thing.
@cadenicholson3016

The whiteboys pulled up to the draft this year
Collier could be J. Kidd all over again. The strong body, overall size and poor shooting makes this the perfect comp.
Who the f wants Ron holland with his poor shooting and turnovers, also, dialingham is overrated as well. This draft sucks what can I say.

This draft looks fucking horrible yeeesh
Si Uconn gagne son deuxième titre vous allez dire que c'est Donovan Clingan le futur numéro un de cette draft.
This dude is a copycat just reading what he heard....You don't know shit about basketball
Dalton Kenect is from Tennessee not Kentucky, but I'll bet they wish he was after torching them this year.
