It's putting down better circuit track times than a C8 and it beats the C8 in a straight line roll race. Did I mention it's also cheaper than a C8? People need to stop hating and enjoy this car, with the handling package it put down a better track time than a ZL1 1LE while having 150hp less but you say it's not inspiring? I say your a hater who only drove the car 15 miles and didn't push it hard once.

That's a pretty dumb comparison, the dark horse is over priced for what it is. Mostly plastic and a few cosmetic mods from the base to a dark horse. Also the beating a base C8 against a top of the line mustang isn't really saying much comparing to the Z06 and the Zr. Not much to brag about. Hennessey even did a comparison race with just a normal Gt and a dark horse and they were exactly the same doing multiple runs. The C8 is best bang for the buck only because of what it is for just base Corvette.

@wadeayoub9799 bro do your own research, Hennessy just made a video of both of the cars and the dark horse is just as fast as the Gt. Throttle house made one against a normal SS and even that isn't much of a power difference.

To bad you didn't get to drive the 6 speed with the handling package because mine is very inspiring go back to reviewing Hondas.

It does have a Manual option. And it’s a Tremec which is widely regarded as being awesome. So that would definitely help it IMO

Sure does! I went manual and absolutely love it. It’s a fun car to take out on the track.

yea I don’t get why the auto isnt more developed (or why they don’t use a DCT). it’s the future and this car is a touring sports car. I’ve owned and daily driven 3 MT mustangs. Kinda over it. Beauty of a mustang is it’s practical. If I want to shift I would get a Miata (typed that out right before he mentioned the Miata lol)

Agreed on the DCT, and I think in Dark Horse trim the manual is the one to get. But on a GT I see your point about the automatic for sure.

They should have VW build them an 8spd dual clutch and then it'd shift much faster.

I felt the same about the corvette. GM should of put their pride aside and put the ZF8 in the C7 and C8. They would be much more reliable and tunable. I had to settle for a 2014 C7 because I can't drive manual comfortably in my area and the 8 speed is junk.

the 10r80 is a joint venture with gm. a tune will reduce shift time. the gt500 dct is from tremec. tuning on it is still locked.
