Did test drive for all 3...Cayenne best fit and finish(underpowered), X5 most powerful but hassle of PHEV(if no home charger), GLE quality? but overall best due to strong V6 engine...

This GLE is a very macho looking SUV, and it gives an impression it is built like a tank. I really like it!😅😊

Touching a buttons feel much better & satisfying than that plain touch screen.

shame that the new GLE can't offer other variant interior colours.

Mercedes needs to implement Digital Vehicle Key and bring back the Burmester High-End 3D sound system to the GLE.

Indeed I prefer physical buttons, I also prefer analog dashboard and no sunroof as Malaysia is hot & humid all year round. I also don’t like the voice telling me this and that. Guess I have to pass this car 😂 good review btw 👍🏻

Buttons are the safest. Somethings just cannot and should not be reinvented.

A lot of defects n finishing is not so gd if u scrutinize the car body kit

XC90 for needs and GLE450 class and smoother engine and for grandness. Barely any GLE’s on the road

Get a Palisade instead.

Was shopping for one..the price is now a steep RM544K for 24 model, 528K for 23 facelift but believe it is all sold out now. Agreed the interior needed a bit of a two tone to make it more cheerful, missed opportunity to add a lighter wood tone. Looked at all 4 competing products, Cayenne(less powerful), X5(PHEV too much of a hassle), XC90 B5(dated and weak engine), XC90 Ultimate(PHEV)...still the GLE is the most compelling product..the engine is reminisce of a bygone S class ICE version and has a bit of a prestige factor since there are so few around...workmanship will lose to Cayenne despite its SKD status since the Pekan facility is multi model...good review and make more comparison videos...

For this price given yes the cayenne has lesser power , but definitely it will give u a better handling and day to day fun as we r not going to take the SUV for a race In terms of refinement as well the cayenne will definitely be much better

@@drnavzsidhu took one of 2 last available 23 Facelift units at 528K, same as 24(new price 544k) cos in Msia car makers cannot launch until get Govt approval. Had a 958.2 Cayenne before as comparison so the new Cayenne base is really uninspiring but in terms of quality and fit shud be excellent...handling definitely Cayenne is best but sporty firm ride, while GLE is more for comfort and luxury, like an S class in an SUV...if you are getting Cayenne, take white with 21 inch black Exclusive Design rims(extra RM50K)-saw one in Mont Kiara, was absolutely stunning!

@@drnavzsidhu nope, coz I wanted a 7 seater(Alphard-no driver!), and X5 has a tight rear passenger legroom, and an awful resale value, plus the PHEV...it was either GLE or B5...good luck in your car hunting and let us know what u bought!

Screens kills interior design and aesthetics of a car. With essential functions integrated in screens, it is actually less ergonomic and some might jeopardize safety. Plus most cars looked generic now.

Really don't understand why all car brands in malaysia must use black interior while the different country use the color interior???!!!! In malaysia, pricer than other country but still prefer black interior and other country, cheaper than malaysia use the color interior!!!

Dont spend. Save.

its a pricelift, outdated design inside out especially that a decade old screen. that leather variant and all black do not look luxury at all for over 500k? too easy to ignore.

Money pit...only for the rich.
