I totally agree!

1. That rear difuser with fake chrome exhausts is really bad, for me it would look better if its the same colour and material of the bumper, and without any fake parts, just close it off, like it is electric. 2. Plastic for rear controls is really cheap for that level of car, no excuse to not make it in same material as central arm rest. 3. Super screen is totally unnecessary in my opinion, when you have that massive central screen. 4. I would like that buttons on steering wheel are tactile and mat black, I really dont like piano black on things I touch often. Rest of the car is really great, and I honestly like its looks much more than the new BMW 5 series.

agreed on most points but do remember thankfully superscreen is just an option and the car can be had without it

I agree.

The interior looks so much better and so much more cozy than on the S-class its crazy. Absolutely excited for the S-class facelift - it HAS to get the superscreen.

It doesnt look like an S-Class at all. Take a look at the 2019 S, E and C-Class, these ones were looking exactly alike designwise. Still a good review tho

Is this Obsidian black exterior ?

after that E class of the 90s I think interms of beauty this comes after. My only problem with these Mercedes of today nowadays is that they have removed the gear knob, we need something to shift. Changing gears by hand Is a crucial part in driving, even if it's automatic that stick should there where it used to be.

the leather horn makes such a big difference when daily driving if you crave a clean view. but i guess this car compensates with all of the other eye candy

4:07 I'm asking purely for understanding. For those who also complain about the lower part of the bumper being plastic...What exactly should it have been made of? I get that there's a carbon fibre option for the sport variants, but in this case, what should it have been, for people to stop complaining?

Valid point , but they could make it in a piano like look like BMW is doing on there newer models or anything else, those plastic bumpers with fake exhaust are just bad..

What real world mpg can you get from it? Said that if you use it for taxi and you’re doing more miles than the battery can give. You had it on hybrid mode what could you get with that.

I drove it uneconomically also fast on the autobahn and had like 9L per 100km. You could easily get this to 6.5-7.5 and if you have the battery 2 Litres should be possible

Hi, thanks for that video. The new E-Class is such a great car! But on one point I disagree with other comments. The E-Class is good, but doesn´t replace a S-Class. It has another drive feeling. In my opinion, if you can, go for S-Class ;-) BR

2013-2014 was the best design for the E class

When you see that they skimped on the piece of plastic on the rear controls, it makes you wonder: what else did they skimp on? Doesn't the low reliability of this company come from these cost cutting?

the top ambient lighting is too much it looks obnoxious now previous one was implemented a little better

Paying 125k for an E class is just plain reckless when you can get an S500 or a Amg GT 43

no review on road noise, ride comfort, impact harshness over bumps and pot holes. How can you conclude you don't need an S class anymore without taking those things into consideration????

The new BMW G60 5 series has also got rid of the exhaust they are under the car like the Mercedes and Audi. But at least did not put fake exhaust like this one. This is really bad

It may look the same but S-Class still rides better. I have a S-Coupe so I know.

4:3¹❤️ quite possibly maybe Mercedes-Benz meant for the air deflectors create airflow in places of the car like in the front create for the radiator they put plastic down to catch air and divert it towards things inside the underneath directing air flow underneath chassis area air deflectors possibly maybe I don't know I thought you was going to tell me the review you have to do more research you can't say I don't know that's not a local book sales pitch so many competitions out there people are afraid to spend that amount of money when they can get something more confident these are beginners are afraid to spend large amount 🙈🤔

the ambient light, the designs are nice but nowadays the usage quality of materials are just so hollow and disappointing in some aspects.the plastic door trims, door cars, thinning of seat layout with addtional extra cheap plastics at the back parts and so much more. the E class is not the E class with premium and prestige as before. mercedes cheapenize all their overall assembly of the car.the usage of cheap plastics are just overly apparent than ever before.

Great car....however the drivetrain does not appeal to me.

Yeah I agree. Most people don’t even know what an “S class” is anyway. Very stupid comment by the reviewer. That said, the E class is beautiful in my opinion. I prefer it over the S class design! 😅

Terrible design but because Mercedes' main market is China and Chinese people, they love the logo to brag their wealth so the logo shape light is the perfect design for selling point.

I feel like you can make any shit design today and sheeple will still buy it just because it’s Mercedes 🤮🤮
