The Chinese have strong believe and faith in this age old temple. They continue the practice. Chetties have reduced. Lesser chetties. Temple also managed by Chinese.

It it comes to KZread, there will be people making insensible comments at times. I'm not into any religion altogether but still have the high level of respect towards any religion and cultures. Sometimes we need to absorb the elements of diversity within surroundings and just move if it's your cup of tea. It is their way of life and belief system. Some of us may not aware such diversity despite living on the same land but it's alright. I'd seen a similar festival in Tanah Rata, Cameron Highlands in the month September and it was a Chinese Temple instead of the Indian. It was a clear fusion of both cultures. Please make clean & constructive comments without insulting anyone and their faith. It's alright to have any faith since it's a relationship with their god and/or nature. Living in Melaka since 2007. I'm type-R (Rationalist) NOT Racer or Racists.
