Yeah right. DK could never turn the corner.

I do get frustrated with Geno and that late releases causing some interceptions last year and some miss receptions, yet I have to think about Pete Carroll being in his ear forcing a more conservative ball.

Agree with this. I've rewashed Baldwin highlights and hawks vs Atlanta waaay back. Baldwin is all over the field and TE miller was used a ton in a playoff loss. At some point carrol got scared and had everyone run to the sideline to limit turnovers. At least that's how it seems.

If you do the math for the two years you pointed out of "catchable passes," DK is converting 89 % of them. Not bad at all...Can't wait to see how all the WR's look under the new offense!

On the one handed panthers catch, DK needs to box his man out and go up and jump. If he jumps that’s an inbounds pass. His catch radius is theoretically large but in actuality his inability to high point and use his hands lowers his chances at times. He’s a body catcher. Most of these he should have some grace his way.

DK doesn’t have a lot of wiggle to his game, seems he’s usually well covered by the corner if he isn’t outrunning them. Some of these examples are just throwaways, and yeah they do count as targets but the reason for them is usually nobody open and protection breaking down.

He has what? Two hat tricks so for? That’s 3 tuds in a game. All the game winners? Also turns to a different beast in the playoffs. DK will be unleashed this season

JSN and Parkinson had game winners, also. I think Bobo technically, too? Maybe.

DK and Lamb have almost identical catch per target percentage. Lamb just produced more do to quantity

I’m not saying that a percentage of DKs targets that didn’t translate wasn’t on Geno because it obviously was… but we did have 30 drops last year, so I wonder how many of those were DK

I found this site is pretty effective presenting not just the drop data, but actual catchable passes. www.fantasypros.com/nfl/advanced-stats-wr.php It looks like DK had 7 of the 30 drops last year.

@@thehawksnestclips and I am willing to bet somewhere around half of those drops were due to contact too! Kinda scary to see JSN towards the top of that list! Hoping for a breakout sophomore szn tho

I disagree with your take on dk getting 1500 yards. Most likely it'll be 900-1100 yards imo. Reason why is because of the Potential of JSN in all receiver spots and Walker in his run game and catching ability. Too many weapons to not utilize and scheme open in favorable match ups. Tyler is still good and will benefit a lot from grubb's scheme. His individual ability in understanding defender's tells and habits is going to allow him to eat up those 15-30 yard passes. This will be a balanced top 10 offense. Maybe even top 4 if the o line stays healthy and consistent.

1400 yard season is unlikely. He could do it on a different offense, but there are too many weapons from the other WRs, RBs, and TEs, that there are only so many opportunities DK can get. I can see DK having 2-3 games with 160+ yards and other games with less than 80 yards depending on in-game matchups and what the opposing defenses are giving us. Hope Grubb can really adapt the offense to take advantage of the other teams’ defensive weaknesses and game plans

Dk is a good receiver but he's just as good as being a blocker and attracting a lot of attention of defenses. If other receivers can eat because of dk this is a win win. Teams pay heavy for complete receivers. He just can't run all of the route tree and that's fine. Megatron took heat because he always high pointed balls and left himself vulnerable to punishment. If he's planted on the ground he can brick wall dbs who run at full speed. He's a dog and he's strong and fast. His hands got better that's for sure. But his whole arsenal will allow JSN and Ken Walker to lead this offense in total yards.

Not sure about 1500 yards but would like to get DK on the move more. I'm sure there will be drops but feel like theres unrealized YAC potential.

DK has to step up big time.

Real question. How is he going to step up if lockett stays solid, jsn improves, fant is the primary TE? A lot of great recievers play with one weapon and like Megatron/julio jones sometimes play with try hard JAGS.

I would redact EVERY pass play down the sidelines in #14 direction, its a waste of a down. He with 2 holes in his nose Cant get separation and Geno cant make the throws.

Trade DK? Should they have traded Steve Largent? Because DK is on pace to beat Steve Largents career TD's by 19! 120 to Steve's 101.

Dk.....he's on pace for being the second most productive wr in Seattle and we argue if he's any good. Barring injury he could be the best wr ever in Seattle and we'd probably still be arguing if he's good.

This is DK fanboy nonsense. In the plays you’re showing, I guarantee you DK isn’t in the right spot at the right time. Geno isn’t magically turning into a pumpkin when only targeting DK. Geno’s comp rate was 64%. Every pass catcher on the team had a catch rate of 64% or higher. DK is the problem. He won only 46% of his total routes last season.
