Nice! I ordered a rear spring from you guys for my 2018 300 Thursday before Labor Day. I did a little research and immediately remembered the last time I installed only a rear spring on a bike and what that did to the front end and that Saturday ordered front springs. I’ve been working a lot so I haven’t had time to install but it’s coming.

I still have a 2010 450XCW. Bought it brand new and it has been the best Bike I've ever owned. Its a bit heavy in the tight single track but amazing in Central Oregon. The thing I really like about the Big bore KTM's is they are very easy to ride if you just use the motor the way its designed to be ridden.

Thanks for the video. I heard this bike was going to be the EXC without the lights and mirrors. GET ECU (with the Slaven's Mule magic), FMF muffler with the quiet insert and a free flow TwinAir filter and it would be a fun bike! Does this bike have the reed valve in the intake?

Thanks for the vid. I don't think we get the xw-f model here in Australia. Our exc-f model doesn't have that mesh in the pipe or the O2 sensor. They don't run crazy lean either. I'm still waiting for my 24 six days 500 exc-f so hopefully it's not far away.

Mine flamed out and threw me down resulting in me breaking my knee. Needless to say the flameout issue got fixed and while I was recovering I set up the suspension specifically for my weight. Magically the stock tires fell off also.

Thanks for the review, Jeff. I'm looking forward to what else you end up doing with this bike on the engine performance portion. What's your suggestion for removing the EPA crap from the drive side? Is it ok to just unplug and remove those sensors and call it good or is something else needed so it doesn't fault out?

Rumor has it if you change the exhaust it will no longer let the headlight/brake light work to ensure there are no mods that would make it illegal in California

They said that about the SX's since Factory KTM struggled to setup the factory edition 22.5 models for AMA SX/MX, no change to production on those bikes. I would bet there is no change to the enduro chassis until the next Gen comes out in 2028.

You are always chanhing those handguards on stock ktms to your barkbusters etc. How come most of the finnish enduro riders(Who are known to be best enduro riders around the world) rides with stock handguards? Jesus christ this bike your build up of your bikes is absolutely hilarious with those "must have" upgrages your doing to them...

Hello Tikki Dude: No idea why Finnish riders do what they do, but us "Americans" prefer to protect our hands and our equipment (grips, levers, throttle, etc.) . Personally, I don't like riding "one-size-fits-all" production motorcycles, so I modify them with "hilarious must-have upgrades" to fit my height, weight, type of terrain ridden and to match my skill level. Since you prefer mediocrity, enjoy your stocker. Regards, JS
