Such a bold design. Nicely executed though. The hybrid version gets more HP and MPG. Love that color. Kia and Hyundai really go out of their way to not look like other brands now.

Looking at a few cars and the Sportage is my favorite so far, the EX trim seems to be the bets for what I'm looking for in terms of driving experience, safety, price, and trunk space (as a musician carrying a lot of drum equipment, trunk space is a big plus, and even with the seats up there's a lot of room here). I test drove a Sportage this weekend and was really impressed.

Is it black exterior and white interior, right? Why is it listed as gray?

*This is the BEST interior color out of all others available, unfortunately, only the EX trim have it, not the more advance trims.* I didn't see any new features, this is the exact same as the 2023 model. Thanks for the video.

I kind of like the retro speedometers, like the ones in Tucson. Numbers need processing whereas position of the dial in the periphery vision gives idea of the speed or rpm.

If they would just get rid of that piano black around the shifter, I'd be interested. Great design, engine has dual injection(port and direct), a regular 8 speed (not a CVT), and 5 year bumper-to-bumper instead of 3 year.

We just got a 2024 Sportage EX. A problem nobody at Kia or the dealership has been able to help us with as of yet. Every time we shut the vehicle off, all of the data for “Accumulated Info” and “Since Refueling” resets to zero. On some models you can fix that under Cluster. That’s not a choice in the Cluster menu on our car.

I am about to get one but I am confused which one to get Sportage offer more features for the money or Rav4 last longer and it's better at the returned value and

What did you decide on getting ?

Had 2013 Kia Optima ten years ago, started burning oil at 90,000km ( 55,000miles) with the 2.5 engine. Korea car always have good features, technically more advance and good price. Only problem is the quality of their parts, things started to break down in 3 rd year.

These are nice in this new body style. I was not a fan of the 5k markup Kia dealers seem to add for the hybrid trims. Also, Kia needs to add the maintenance package that Hyundai offers.

Seems to be a lot of glare on the DashBoard ,how is the sun glare when driving ? If it fades out because of sun hitting it I would not want it. I also like more mechanical buttons , I predict a lot of fingerprints . Spare tire is a big plus !!!

Instead of a star wars droid the rear front seat headrests remind me of the original Foot Soldiers from TMNT LOL.

What is going on with the 2024 Kia Sportage? I was planning on buying one but I only see 2 colors available, black and blue. It’s not even possible to pay for another color on Kia Sportage Prestige 2024.

I just bought one and ordered it in the Gravity Grey. I know it also comes in the jungle green, white and black. I also should add that I purchased the 2024 Kia Sportage X-Pro Prestige

It is based on the trim you pick. It will show which colour available to which trim. It is inconvenient cause the colour you like might not be available on a certain trim

Is the 360 backup camera only on the SX?

I want the 24’ Sportage hybrid Ex with premium pkg or Sx prestige in blue with black interior or the new interior and hoping this year there is a FWD option in the higher trims so you get more better mpg

They are backed up on orders if you are going to be specific. Especially for the EX and SX prestige for hybrids. I almost went hybrid but seeing how badly they are mining the earth when all parts of a vehicle are recyclable with all gas...I won't. The battery is forever. Not good

does it have head up display?

Don't really like the looks of the front. I know they were going after something different looking. What I like about Kia's is they give you a lot of features for the money. Hiring designers from Audi and BMW was a good move for them. Kia has really improved from when they started. They are no longer considered a cheap car.

I Visited Bill Walsh KIA in Ottawa, IL. Claimed no such EX Trim comes with optional Front Wheel Drive option, Only the SX trim level exists in this trim level? Really? Did I misinterpret this video Review of the KIA Sportage EX trim? I will share this EX review with this agent, and his manager at this dealership. Nice slapstick raz muh taz you did in this fun review.

Nope. Not until the mid cycle refresh(Likely 2025) when it’ll get the new Gen 6 infotainment being rolled out with the EV9 and refreshed 24 Sorrento.

I ordered an SX Prestige hybrid in April. Just found out they dropped the heated windshield. That sucks. They need to offer folding side mirrors and wireless CarPlay.

I ordered it in April ‘23 but don’t have it yet. Maybe February or March I’ll see it? They didn’t drop it mid year. I ordered a 23 but it will be a 24 when the order is finally filled.

@@contemporaryprimitiveman3469 Odd. Not sure where you ordered, but maybe they get very few there. I talked to many different dealers. After trying to get the vesta blue I expanded my search to include every color except black and the matte gray, since I'm not into trying to keep the paint perfect. Eventually one of the dealers said a gravity gray one would be coming up January 26th -- they told me this in December of 2023. Apparently they get a certain allocation of cars, not sure if it's to order. But they reached out to me and with just a credit check said I would be first in line for the car. It came early, the 12th of January to be exact and I was able to buy it the 13th. You may want to spread out your search.

Yes, and they did give them upgrade for 2024.

I still have no idea what the aesthetic of this vehicle’s face is supposed to convey. The DRLs are so much more distinct than the headlights, so which ones are the “eyes” of the vehicle? And the grill is a giant strip of black metallish lattice, but there’s a slanted strip of chrome at its top edge which creates a gap between itself and the hood. Again the secondary detail is more distinct than the primary. It makes it seem like that gap is the grill. Like a lot of Korean vehicles I look at this and I experience uncanny valley. The Niro is like this and so is pretty much everything Hyundai makes

There are no changes in the European version of the Kia Sportage for 2024, only higher prices. Apparently, Europeans are not interesting clients for Kia. Two years since the start of selling the car, they haven't offered any new colors, nor a partial exterior facelift, nor just new wheels. Nothing, just a higher price. Kia Sportage is a nice car, but don't buy it until Kia manufacturer offers benefits to customers.

Yes they seem to be a nice vehicle for the money. I fully understand how people gravitate to this brand. I will not knock them for doing so either. However, I trust the Reliability of my Toyota RAV4 over one of these. I do not care that the Kia has more modern tech. At least the tech in my RAV4 works properly without any problems.

@@victorquintana5870 They do not HONOR their warranties a LOT of the times. So what good is it if it is not honored? Check the WEB and see how many times Kia/Hyundai has refused to honor their warranty. Toyota ALWAYS honors their warranty. They even replace things that are not under warranty in a lot of cases. I will stick with Toyota over Kia/Hyundai any day.

A 2019 Rav 4 is the exact same as a 2024, they’ve been reproducing the same car for the last 5 years with very minor changes and sticking a new year and increased price tag on it and y’all eat it up lol Love Toyota, but absolutely not.

2024 model rear seat car mat too big and doesn't properly fit.

I'm telling you, there's always something with this brand. Not having wireless Carplay is a pretty big deal. Kia wants to give me one of these things because the last one I bought was such a bust. I'm trying to determine if I want to trust this brand again since I got burned so badly. I have a 2019 Sportage and this year I had to get an engine replaced that took over 3 months to repair, and then one month later someone broke into it and attempted to steal it, which took a month to repair. Some insurance companies won't even insure the Kia's Sportage anymore or they're charging high rates because of all the horrible malfunctions. Can't really trust this brand after being down a car almost half a year. Buyers beware.

Wireless CarPlay can have connectivity issues. Wired does not. If they gave y’all wireless and it kept disconnecting y’all would have something to say about that 🙄 Also insurances definitely do cover all new (2023-up) push-to-start Kias with zero problem. And this is a 2024. You have a 2019, no comparison. They’ve done a facelift. Get a 23/24 hybrid
