Recently just got myself a Pro-4x in boulder grey and I couldn’t be any happier. I test drove both the Frontier and Tacoma and let me tell you, the Tacoma felt very very CHEAP! Hard plastic literally everywhere and I hate the fact that it didn’t even come with a sliding back or a wireless charger. The Frontier had everything I wanted and a n/a V6. As for the price the Frontier was also cheaper.

It may involves availability for me. I really wanted a Tacoma Xtracab, but they are virtually non existent. I have found about a half dozen nation wide in 4WD. (I don’t want a PreRunner) The Kingcab is a little easier to come by. I’m also really disappointed that Toyota dropped the nicer trims on the extended cab. They no longer offer the Off Road or Sport on the smaller cab. I use my bed daily, and I cannot have one shorter than 6 feet for the things that I need to haul. If I get a four door truck with a 6 foot bed then it no longer fits in my garage. I have driven 4:40 an extra cab for 39 years and it is the perfect configuration for me. Toyota is deciding that’s not the case. 😡

Glad I bought a 2023 4Runner. Solid engineering and all the issues worked out over several years. Simple engine, simple transmission, solid body, and enough tech for me (I hate new interiors, I don't want to drive a cellphone).

I think I've found my next truck. Not a fan of the look or wheels, but who really cares about the look? I don't. I've been missing my 2012 Titan Pro4X since I traded it in back in 2016 on a power wagon. I just can't have another huge truck. I'm too used to small trucks and jeeps now.

Is Toyota cleaning all the engine debris out of the new 4runner engines or is left in there like in the Tundras ? Toyota built it's reputation and customer loyalty on reliable vehicles at a fair price. Seems like they're doing their best to reverse that trend.

We test drive a 2025 CRV EXL, and 2024 Rav4 XLE Premium. We bought the Rav4. CRV is larger, and that's the only advantage we found. Its second row seat is not comfortable, and we don't like there are two more shifts after the "D". Plus, it is about 10 horsepower fewer than Rav4.

$50k… not for the average Joe. Unless, you are ok with getting into debt for 7 years. 👎🏽 Still looking for a truck that doesn’t go over $40k with all these features. Most vehicles are over priced by a minimum of $10k - this is no exception.

New gen RX is a disappointment, not only does it have a 4 cylinder, it looks smaller than the previous generation, also the front end bulge is ugly.

Without a weight being disclosed.. The horsepower increase won't be relevant. It's all about power to weight ratio. If it's not even a mile per hour or quarter second faster in a quarter mile or not, even a half a second faster 0 to 60 then then it is absolutely not worth buying, especially losing the bulletproof V6.

I am disappointed. Our 2014 Lexus has 2 way lumar on the passanger- no suprise that this does. The all-black interior looks very plain. There should be a light in the center console. Electric door handles seem to be lacking a good enough use. Rear climate is lacking- should have own fan speed. Too much piano black. Grab handles and other interior parts are lacking the luxury feel of our 2014 (particualrly the armrest in the rear). The dial for heated and vented seats in our 2014 is much better than these screen buttons. Start-stop button is in an unnatural position- 2014 has the perfect position. Climate dials look like a copy from Ford. You should not have to pay for navigation in a luxury vehicle. Our 2014 still has it and we haven't paid a dime. 2014 also has a cupholder on the driver side vent and I think all vehicles should have that. Lexus does not have compeition with other brands... it has compeition with itself.

No fan of the 4 cylinder engine. Also they should make the rear hatch window manual open like FJ and put the spare tire on the hatch door instead of underneath the trunk. Makes life so much easier.
