I’m generally not motivated to write about cars, but I had to defend the three Grand Cherokees in a row that I’ve leased or owned (I’m still driving an Overland V8 with almost 80K miles). The cars haven’t been 100% perfect, but they’ve come close with few and limited problems, none of which have caused a breakdown. I keep trying to come up with another car with the same combination of practicality, off road ability and elegance, and only the much pricier Range Rover Sport comes close. I’ll stick with the Jeep.

That’s how I feel about most cars. Yeah sometimes you’ll get a hiccup but mostly decent vehicles.

I have this exact vehicle and it is just amazing! Amazing air ride, heat/cool massaging seats, night vision driving, just amazing all of the options this vehicle comes with.

There is actually 4 ways to open the trunk. The higher trims have the foot wave feature.

does this new model of Grand Cherokee have full sized spares? In my 2019 trailhawk, the full sized spare is in the back where you lift the under floor storage.

Back in summer, in July I also got the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L in the Summit Reserve trim like what was advertised in this video. I got mine with the V8 engine. Same leather material color like what was seen in this video. The color for mine is the Diamond Black Crystal Pearl. I initially wanted the Midnight Sky Blue color, but the dealership and neighboring dealerships didn't have it. Great vehicle. The features are nice and this V8 engine performs well.

@MarkR973 The seats are comfortable. Has the massaging functions. Bolstering is good. No complaints. Adjustable lumbar. Heated & ventilated functions for the first row of seats and second row of seats. Seats in the bigger luxury brother Grand Wagoneer are more comfy.

Is the tan color leather on the 2024 slightly different from the tan leather in the 2023? Seems less "mustard" colored no?

My 2018 Overland is crazy good. Had to replace the suspension electronics twice…$3000 each time. Ouch. But love the car. 135K miles and going strong….BUT, I might trade it in for this….

Good review video on the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee L in the Summit Reserve trim. I have the same vehicle. Only difference is that mine is the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L. Same Summit Reserve trim shown in this video. I got mine five months ago 0qwith the 5.7 liter HEMI V8 engine like what this video has. Good performing engine. It'll go from 0 to 60mph in just 6.2 seconds. Only feature mine didn't come with and I didn't want was the second row seating entertainment package. Color for my vehicle is different. Mine is in the Diamond Black Crystal Pearl color. Initially I wanted the Midnight Sky Blue color, but the dealership and neighboring dealerships didn't have it available. Like what was mentioned in this video, the audio system is great! Nice BOOMING bass sound coming from the 19 speaker premium audio system with an amplifier producing 950 watts of power. The one thing I can say with Jeep about this vehicle is that certain features can be accessible more than one way. Power folding the third row seats can be done two ways and opening or closing the lift gate can be done four ways. Jeep did good with this fifth generation. All exterior lights are LED and the same for all the interior lights as well. That's standard regardless of which trim level it is. The exhaust tips bumper integration is nice. It gives the vehicle a cleaner polished look. The Overland trim and higher will have the exhaust tips like that. Overall, Jeep did a great job witg the Jeep Grand Cherokee L. They also did a great job with the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer full size SUVs. When you get the chance do a review video for the Grand Wagoneer. You'll love it.

Over 4 years with my Trailhawk absolutely no problems its gotten me through several whiteouts and deep snow

@WhiteoutSnowy @WhiteoutSnowy Grand Cherokee L is the 3 row version, so it is the longer model. So yes, "L" designates longer wheelbase. I'm not exactly sure if it is 6 inches longer, but it is the longest wheelbase available for the Grand Cherokee. I have the shorter Grand cherokee, which is the two row one.

I take it, that is a limited version next to it.

I think the suspension system is awesome, but be prepared to replace it every 70K miles or so. $3000 in 2022. Worth it? Maybe…. And my nav system stopped working and only way to fix is to replace entire head unit! $2000! OUCH. I never use it as I have Apple Car play. The entire electronics system is “iffy”. It has glitches all the time. But I will get another one.
