I just picked up a 2024 Jeep GC L Overland with the 5.7 HEMI. Gotta have a V8! It has the Zynith Silver paint, black roof, panoramic sun roof, massaging seats, tow hooks in the front grill, absolutely loaded. Love it more than my 2021 Durango SRT!
Purchased this vehicle for the wife. It is an amazing vehicle, so many options and a blast to drive. Night vision driving, massaging heated/cooled seats, adjustable air ride. Just one amazing ride!
Not sure why you compare this to Kia! This is even better than Range Rover and many other luxury SUVs

No, it's not better than a Ranger Rover. You clearly have no idea of what you speak.

@@waltermeono5253 yes, if you have fat fingers, and type fast on a phone without autocorrect turned on, yes, range turns into ranger. Again, anyone that thinks Jeep is better that Range Rover, especially in the context of this video, is simply ignorant - or incompetent.
I bought this model in 2022 with a V8 been a great car. The V-8 is not available any longer too bad. You did a great job on this video

Just bought a 2024 with V8 Hemi, They say that’s definitely the last year for it though
Took delivery on my 2024 GCL Summit with Tupelo and high altitude package. It’s fkn insane. It’s a beast and it’s my first jeep - they’ve really stepped up their game. When I was considering alternatives that were much higher priced like Range Rover and Seqouia……well I don’t miss any of them at all anymore. I truly wonder what I could possibly want to buy one of those for when this grand Cherokee is a fkn home run!! 🔥🔥🔥
Cargo space looks great!

Another that has no idea of what they are speaking about.
I just ordered my summit reserve L. All options but the auto drive system. Rear Entertainment system, passenger screen and night vision system. You compare this to a Kia? Kia is junk wagon compared to any Jeep model.
Great video, thanks 😊
Awesome review 🎉

Shame that you won't buy it with 5.7 V8 anymore. Great review as always. Greetings
I have a 2023 GC Summit Reserve with the Hemi engine. I love the vehicle, but I didn't like the Black top with the White Body. I had the top painted white to match the body and it looks like a million dollars. Looks good in black.

Good grief what did that cost?
Isn’t that Palermo leather? Napa doesn’t have stitching right?
What is Napa Leather? Did the cows drink wine in Napa?
2024 is absolutely the last year model you can get this vehicle with a V8 Hemi

You can only get the Hemi now with the L version. I tried. I don't like the 3rd row and extra length so I will try out the 3.6L for the 1st time. My last 4 GC Overlands have had Hemi's. I hope I'm not too disappointed.
Is that the only engine available in the summit?

Hahah, and I agree.. Everything nowadays has too many $$$$ attached to them… Not just cars
It's why I purchased the 2022 Summit V8 with only 8300 miles. Saved thousands over the overpriced and underpowered 2023-2024 models. The 3.6L is a lame dog and and can't pull shit without the engine screaming in pain. Not to mention hills without even pulling anything.
The Jeep is a fantastic car. I lease the Overland and love it, however DO NOT buy or lease the plug in. Simply to say, very disappointed. Lazy, loud, EV/Gas interaction is very poor. Other than that, the Overland and Summit are the poor man Range Rover Sport.

@@703Speed Good deal. If in a year time, they will not have a full EV or V6 or 8 Overland, then no GC for me. I bet, Jeep will no longer make the plug in. Just terrible!
Love it except the engine is a deal killer.Must have a V8.

Actually the 6 cylinder motor is quite peppy. The V8 would be great for the Wrangle and Gladiator but for an everyday SUV the Pentastar V6 is more than sufficient.

@@treydrier3169 Peppy translates to weak, under 300 ft lbs of torque in a vehicle that size is weak. I can’t understand how it gets the 7,200 Lb tow rating.

@@tedlulis973It's generally perceived that Jeeps, Chryslers, and anything under the "Stellantis" brand do not have good reliability track records. Our family has had 3 grand cherokees and they've all been in the shop at least 4 times, the first 2 died different deaths The 5th generation WL models might be better, I can't confirm or deny that. The first one we had was a 1996 ZJ, the last two were WK2 models, one a 2014 and the other a 2020
