That Nano coating has turned the new OLED into a 90’s LCD with them blacks(well greys..) 😁

Nano texture screen definitely looks horrible compared to the regular screen.

100% agree. I’m sure there’s a use case for it, but as a photo editor, I wouldn’t want to use it. Loses too much sharpness.

I’ve been SO excited for you to unbox these, I don’t like the way the nano texture glass looks as it looks hazy, and the thinness comparison is crazy

I just got mines today 13 inch 512 gb. The display is stunning! So far I am so impressed. Think Apple should have given all models the same cores/ram

Dont forget that the usbc port build on the m4 and m2 pro both also support thunderbolt, the new M2 Air only supports usbc.

Can you differentiate between the standard glass and the nano texture options just by the box?

Thank you. What is the weight difference between the previous iPad with the Magic Keyboard and pencil, and the newer models in the same configuration. You mentioned that the new model is still feels heavy.

I am definitely not upgrading from my 11 inches M1 iPad Pro until there is substantial improvements on the software

Just unboxed my iPad Pro 13-inch, Magic Keyboard and Pencil Pro. I like the darker black and it now matches my MacBook in Space Black too. I’m coming from the M2 iPad Pro and I don’t think I will miss the other camera, I really only used the iPad to scan items. The new Keyboard is far better than the other, great improvement, don’t know why they didn’t make it this way in the first place. I had to update the iPad OS to 17.5 and experienced some glitches to the OS after this when everything updated. A refresh of the iPad did the job and all is good so far.

I picked up my 2024 13" iPad Pro this morning. As noted, it came with a 20W PowerPak. I know it's possible to use a 40W for faster charging. Most days I leave my iPad charging overnight. Would using a 40W, quality brand, charger every night for 8 to 10 hours, adversely affect the battery's health and lifespan? Is it better for the battery to use the 20W PowerPak in preference to the 40W?

My 11 inch came with a black cable, I did get the 1tb with the nano texture display though. Maybe it only comes with those higher storage models

I cant decide between ipad air 13inch or ipad pro 11inch (In 256gb theres no big price difference). I really want bigger screen but pro 13inch its just too expensive. So i would like some advice for what to choose, like pro has face id, ProMotion, oled, raytracing and other cool features. So my question is if i should get a bit smaller screen but with all these worth features rather than air13inch? Thanks in advance!

11” space black does have a black charging cord I got one yesterday.

The m4 models don’t have portrait mode on the rear camera now I’ve noticed. You said it’s able to do ProRes but there is no option for that.

I got stickers with mine,the 13 in w/out the nano screen and I also got cellular. And my cord is white not black and. I got mine on Monday, and I am all ready to go, just waiting on the magic keyboard and pencil pro coming this afternoon. It is so thin and light. I love mine.

Got my 13” today. Screen looks great and it’s nice having so much space compared to my old Mini. Also digging the new pencil. I’m trying to learn how to draw and I want to journal more so this is definitely incentive to do that.

Please tell in your review if the nano is worth it, less eye strain ? , esp for writing with pencil and reading in bright environment. Or is it the same to buy a mat screen ? Also what about file management in new iPad OS ? For now, I find it terrible ? Really wonder if it’s worth upgrading from my iPad Pro 11’ 2020. The new one is so expensive ! Apple should trade in the accessories at least 50% but me dreaming !!!

I think you will love it. And if you don’t you can just return it and buy the standard glass. Just try it for a week and see how you like it. I think it looks awesome.

Would love to see display comparison between it and the mini-LED version.

Hi Aaron, great video and am impressed by how thin and rigid the new iPads Pro are. Please may you cover in your in depth review the AI capabilities of the M4 chip as well which storage and size options would be most appropriate for different types of users.

I have a iPad pro 2020 11 inch and just got the 11 inch m4. Honestly for what I use my ipad for my 2020 is perfectly fine and I miss the wide angle camera I don't think it's crazy thin feel like people say screen look slightly better and brighter speakers didn't seem as loud wasnt crazy fast vs 2020 for things I use it for

I wish the battery got improved too but oLED has me happy, hopefully they make an ultra one day thats thicker with a bigger battery

I just picked up the 11” M4, keyboard, and Pencil Pro. I ordered a Dbrand skin for the keyboard, i hate the outer material, it just collects dust. Far as the iPad goes, i love it, the Display is amazing, and the speakers sound way better than my m2 iPad Pro. Love how thin it is, feels so good to hold.

This means for me less eye strain. I’m very impressed Aron it means I can get more done, being more productive is in itself is a bonus. Well done to Apple. This is an important one, specially while travelling. hope Apple fixed that as the old 12.9 ipad was pretty unstable.

Looking at the black one, I really am considering receiving the white one that I ordered and going to Best Buy and swapping it out

I'd love to see a comparison video between the new 13" iPad Pro and the 2018 12.9" iPad Pro, it'd be interesting to see how far (or not) it's come in 6 years. I still use the 2018 one but I only really use it for media consumption such as KZread. I have no issues with it at all, and I see myself using this all the way up until it no longer supports the latest iOS!

With the keyboard cover it is a bit reminiscent of the macbook retina 12 inch.

Aaron is right - this is insane power in a tablet - the only thing holding the iPad back now is the software. Fingers crossed 🤞for iPadOS 18!

Love your content Aaron, but for videos with big devices like this and accessories, can you maybe zoom out more so that more things fit on the screen

Yes. I believe EU has no chargers.

Hi. This was hyped as a creator's device. Can you really edit professional videos and podcasts on these M4 iPads, without needing to use a MAC, MACbook or another computer in the process? Especially if you will be shooting with a regular camera? I bought the 11" Pro with 1T. But I haven't opened it yet. I can still return it. And, if I can't edit on it, maybe I need a MAcbook instead. They are almost the same price. What do you think?

You're a great guy zollotech so no offense with what i'm about to say. I fell asleep to one of your videos and YT kept auto playing your videos. I woke up to 13:22 and it woke me up bc i did NOT expect a selfie video on a channel that mostly shows whatever is being reviewed. In my confused state of just waking up I was even further befuddled when I wake up directly to your face. Great vids zollotech, this wasn't the first time I fell asleep to your videos. Good background sleeping material 10/10 would sleep again.
