I have the Venue in this same colour, and I love this colour~ I have the mid trim, which is known as the preferred trim in Canada, but I love the features you get for the money. Mine was around $29,000, and I got some great features: keyless access, heated front seats, heated steering wheel, an 8" screen, backup camera, rear cross traffic alert, lane keep assist, blind spot monitoring, I mean for the money, it's a fantastic car. Perfect for city driving, since it's easy to see out of, no blind spots whatsover, very spacious despite the size, and even though the engine only has 121 HP, it's plenty fast for me, since I do not drive on the highway with this car very often. Hyundai's IVT transmission definitely helps, since it's really responsive for acceleration, even in the eco mode. I also easily do between 45-52 mpg in the city, which is just ridiculous for such a car like this, and the EPA only rates this at 29 city and 33 highway. For those needing to replace their Accent (which this car is basically the SUV version of that), the Venue is a perfect option.

@@jamesvanderbilt201 economy drive mode ~~ I drive in eco mode all the time and it helps a lot 👏👏 a lot of other people that I know who have this car get really good fuel economy. I get pretty good range too. If you drive efficiently for the amount of power it has, it will save you lots of money.

@@jamesvanderbilt201 yeah I’ve seen some people get over 40 mpg easily in this ~~ I can easily get between 420 to 430 miles in this car and it’s amazing the range in this. I’m sure if you drive in the normal mode too it should be just as efficient.

just got this on loan while my car (2017 Elantra Sport) was being serviced. while it definitely lacks power, It uses the power it has super efficiently, some of the best mpg I've ever received out of any vehicle I have driven. Its super enjoyable to be in and really quite a fun little car especially with the better trim and the extra features. If I didnt already have my eyes on the Kona N I could see myself using a venue as a commuter car and loving it.

My question to anyone and everyone: Which is better, in general: the 2024 Hyundai Venue or the '24 Chevy Trax 3 cylinder? Right off the bat it seems the Venue has the advantage of complimentary maintenance for a three year period versus the Trax, plus the overall warranty seems to be better. What say you all to this? 🙏♐

I can't tell if it's the engine making a nasty rattle noise at high revs or something in the interior rattling, but it sounds terrible. I agree the screen should be integrated into the dashboard instead of sticking out. It would be easy enough for them to modify the shape of the dash top to accommodate that. I also agree the price is a bit steep. Overall I love the design though. I think the Kia Soul is better value for the money. It's a bit larger, more powerful, more fuel efficient, and only a few hundred dollars more when comparably equipped. I prefer the looks of the Venue though.

As a driver of a heavier vehicle, you definitely shouldn't wish to have "heavier steering wheel". It becomes a job to corner around basements and parking. There's not much to cars that are made by reliable manufacturer - cloth and plastic interior are a standard. Due to the price and type of buyers, it would be great to have a run through of features on the dash, setup and trunk space. Flash few frames of the engine under the hood. Type of fuel it needs e.g. some cars run best on higher grade as per manufacturer spec. Range of 1 tank. Tripmeter and dash. Does it show outside temperature - important for early birds. People often don't have the luxury of having different models available, so that's not as important to choose between them, the main model should be just thoroughly showcased, not reviewed. Reviews are for shows like Top Gear to talk comparisons and performance when actually showing different cars. If people look for performance, they would be looking for BMW. Basically this video is for car enthusiasts, not at all a buyer's guide. And I've never seen a car enthusiasts interested in daily cars unless they notice a feature. Anyway, it's a shame we are yet to invent a built in phone holder for GPS. Still don't know if the windows and mirrors are electric or not, if it shows AC temperature (watched on my phone so don't see or hear anything about it). Folding back seats. Any storage at the back seats? Call features and does it work or it's a gimmick like in all cars? Music options is something we use on almost every trip. So many questions about actual daily use. I've never heard an everyday car owner talk about transmission types or suspension.

We enthusiasts are aware of the Venue's purpose, but we see potential of it reaching a larger audience. The Venue need the 1.6l hybrid powertrain from the Niro to appease the greenies and enthusiasts as a N-Line, and the 1.6l turbo engine for a full blown N model for us enthusiasts. Not all of us are willing to hand $35k+ on N models, and all want want our vehicles plugged into walls either.

@@Iegend17 Its 120 Kms per hour on the highways, which is about 85 miles per hour. Also one needs power to overtake on other national roads so power is a requirement and the turbo motor has more torque than the 1.6. I also comes with a 7 speed dual clutch gearbox instead of the CVT so it's a bit less rev prone.
