I just bought one and I love it so far.. Got the base model and still got plenty of bells and whistles.. has a bunch of safety features that allowed me to get a discount on my insurance.. I get 28Mpg hwy and 22-23 in city limits. I drove 300+ miles on just under a half a tank of gas. The ride is smooth and quiet. Very spacious inside. Only con I have is no trunk space unless you put down the 3rd row. This is my second Hyundai... had an Elantra in the early 90s. Great car, had it for 10 years was still running great until, it was totalled in a hit and run.. So bump what folks say about Hyundais being junk... i like them..

Thank you for posting this - I am seriously considering the Sante Fe as our next car (also looking at the Pilot, Highlander and Pathfinder), so your input was very helpful! Yes but bigger the rims the ride quality will get rough. 17 is the ideal rim size if you care more about comfort than looks

Booyyy that things sharp. I think Hyundai/Kia have really good stylists working for them. The back kind of reminds me of a early 90s Toyota Previa. I've actually owned two Hyundais in my life, a 94 Excel, and a 99 Elantra. The 94 should have been a rolling pile of junk but wasn't ( mechanically atleast), I shut the door one time and the mirror fell off at 8,000 miles. It was extremely dependable and when I traded it in 99 with 120,000 on it the salesman said he couldn't believe "one of these has made it this far and runs this good". The 99 Elantra I had was a much better made car in every way. It was totaled at 95,000 and I never had problems with it.

Looks nice but what good is it when in 7 years the life of the engine is done. Thats what happened to my 2017 Santa fe XL. Hyundai make sleek models thats how i got convinced to buy it. Doesn't look so hot when in 7 years had to sell for parts and sat in a storage facility and hyundai customer service was non existant. Just after the warranty period. Good luck to those that buy this one.

Just looked at one. Veey nice with all the bells and whistles. Had a Sorento and Soul and so much trouble with them . Husband had a Tucson and had over 325k miles with only oil changes done. RAN great till someone crashed in to it

It's all heat absorption. Black would absorb too much heat especially during summer time. White dies not absorb heat as much.

This isn't the same engine, the 23 2.5 was 191 HP, 24 is turbo with 277 HP.
