2024 Hyundai Santa Fe Review // Imposter Syndrome
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
The 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe ($33,950 USD starting, $40,999 CAD starting) is all new for 2024 and has a boxy design which aims to provide lots of interior space and exterior style. A hybrid option is coming soon, but for now the powerplant is a 2.5 L turbo 4 cylinder with 277 horsepower and 311 lb ft of torque. But how is it as a daily driver? And how does it compare to the competition? Thomas and James are excited to spend some time with the new Santa Fe. We hope you enjoy the episode! And then subscribe, silly.

It's hilarious that all your SoCal videos take place around where I grew up and hung out forever. Warms my heart to see the old stomping grounds.
A car I would have never have had a second thought about without a Throttle House video of it. I'll be honest, as a dad with the potential to have more than 1 child in the future this seems like a super reasonably priced 3 row seating SUV. It might not necessarily be the greatest looking vehicle ever but in my opinion it looks way nicer and more expensive than the previous Santa Fe models. Looking at it I'd have had no idea it was a Hyundai having never seen it before. Love the channel, definitely gives off OG Top Gear vibes, and love what ya'll are doing. Well it looks like a defender but at least we can get it insured.
Off-Road Surprise As noted, select crossovers are showing some unexpected off-road prowess. My 2019 Santa Fe, for example, holds its own against friends Subarus in terms of ground clearance, Clarence and suspension. The AWD lock function even feels like it makes a difference. Throw on some good tires, and this thing could handle light off-roading like basic BLM (the Land Mgmt) camping or exploring backroads. I'm really digging the look of the rumored XRT version - fingers crossed it becomes a solid reality with options. On-Road Champion Of course, these SUVs truly shine on pavement. The current "Smart Sense" suite, with its adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assist, is arguably up there with the very best in the industry. The technology simply works flawlessly on mine. These comfortable cruisers are also surprisingly rugged.
I always thought it was pronounced like "Sunday" like that commercial from a while back. But I'll start saying "heeeundai" like you guys do because I trust you with my life and my happiness and eventually my firstborn.
Santa Fe is actually really well-made car. I know there are some complains about Rand rover’s identity and weird shape of rear tail gate. If you want to get the most compliance space and tech in that price range, I would recommend Santa Fe.

I think it's also important to realize how much the two companies have changed in the past decade. It takes a while to turn around product design, but I think they're on the right track. Just need more time to make sure of it, though. Kia / Hyundai EVs are probably my favorite on the market right now, and my parents own two Hyundais that they love, but they've also had to replace an engine in a Tuscon at 45K miles (they no longer have that vehicle that drank oil). It's very hit or miss, but it helps we aren't in a big enough community for the Kia Boyz too...
