It looks fantastic. I can tell Hyundai paid a lot of attention to the details of the interior. Having owned Hyundais in the past, I can say they are really good with interior design. Great ergonomics. Chucky buttons on the dash that are well-labeled and logical to use. A clever center console and cupholder design. This new Kona really makes the Corolla Cross and HRV look like lackluster crap.

Still not sure about the exterior changes, but that white interior and the layout controls all look great!

My 2020 Kona SEL Plus with AWD and the 2.0 NA engine has been an excellent vehicle to own. I have close to 35K miles on it and only had 1 squeaky door lock actuator replaced under warranty with no other issues. It’s not burning any oil although my engine is one that is covered by Hyundai for a class action lawsuit they lost for defective engines. Only thing you should know about the older models is that rear seat room is tight, the factory tires were awful in anything other than dry weather (I replaced mine with Bridgestone Turanza Quiet Tracks after a nail left one of my tires unable to be repaired and due to the AWD system required a full tire set replacement). It has a nice mix of tech but also old school knobs and buttons inside and the Infinity audio system on the SEL Plus is excellent (along with the other goodies the Plus trim added).

The heads up display is one of my favorite features in the 2020 Kona. Sorry to see it go

You didn't mention, there's another power train option... The Kona N has a 276hp 2.0L Turbo.

Key fab is "light and plasticy" thats a complaint. You know everyone loves carrying large heavy obnoxious key fabs. I will take lighter everyday.Good overall job on the review👍

Love a heavier key. Can feel it in pocket, might mean it's got some metal in it, and they make a thud when they hit the ground if dropped.

You can also use your phone as a key and ditch the fob all together

Good point. I would appreciate a better “feeling” remote but I don’t need an all metal brick to weigh my pants down. Especially since we’re a two car family and I carry around two key fobs all the time.

It needs to be a hybrid

Love how the front and rear light clusters are way down in the bumpers where they will get smashed out by the smallest of collisions and cost thousands more to repair!

Honestly for better visibility at night it makes more sense to put them in the corners

I went from the 2021 Kona Ultimate to the 2024 Kona Limited. While the newer model doesn't have all the same Bells & Whistles, I'm pretty happy w/ it overall. Your points on FWD vs the AWD are correct. The one thing I didn't realize till after purchasing the FWD is that there is no spare tire. Not even available for purchase (donut kit) after market. That doesn't seem to be the same problem on the AWD. Really miss being able to add that now.

I have the The new Hyundai Kona but the SEL but got to say it was worth to buy because it has a lot of good features that we as drivers should have highly highly recommend it plus I’m 6’2 and I still got space on the back and on the drivers seat literally best car ever

there are N line here in our local garages, either Standard or premium, here in Australia. Main difference is premium has sunroof and both front seats electric. We have no AWD here in Australia, are uou sure its AWD????

It's AWD. I'm shocked that Australia doesn't get AWD. I hope Hyundai at least gave y'all IRS it gives it a more planted feel during bumpy turns. Hyundai Australia is big on giving their cars a more sportier feel than us Americans.

The interior is very nice. The exterior is pretty atrocious in my opinion. Just think it’s ugly whereas the previous model was cute. Just my opinion, of course.

This Hyundai Kona in line and limited is a fairly great Hyundai that did a greater job than the previous generation I like Hyundai every model either that Ionic 5 or 6 This car is attractive with bells and whistles however seats are very comfortable thanks

Kinda dumb that you can't get the heated steering wheel on the N-line. My Trax LT has that and it costs a lot less.

I can’t believe there are no Dash lighting. under the dash is very dark in the car while driving at night is pitch dark very disappointing

Not bad looking but I don’t like the idea you have upgrade to the N-Line to get 175Hp / 195 ft/Torq. The base motor is lame. That column shifter is not for me. No Limited Listed at Hyundai Canada . Only 2023 Kona for now.

so the key is lightweight, much better for sitting in ones pocket.

In the looks department it ranks right along side the old Pontiac Aztec 😂

Ahhh no this way more attractive and modern in my opinion the Aztec had a weird body like it didn’t know what it was a wagon,suv,etc.

The headlights and tail lights just look weird to me.

I think the exterior stying is too busy. Overkill.

Manuals are rare people stopped buying them so they don’t make them much anymore

The rear is not beautiful, it is too barren and boxy, the skins are quite exposed when the vehicle collides, and the shape is not as sporty as in the white model. The landing space is small, which is bad for such a bulky car. I think that Hyundai is here with many buyers of this model closed the door.
