No doubt, the Civic Hatchback offers a lot for the money.

The 1.5 liter turbo has oil dilution problems. I wanted last year a 23 Accord EX. In Texas, my insurance in my 6 months was going up 445. I love the civic hatch, but my insurance would jump 440. The lowest insurance hike was 235 for a 24 HRV EXL. I bought the HRV EXL on the lower insurance. I paid 29,000 no mark ups. My payment is 342. I financed 20,500. In 11 months I’m down to 10,762 paying extra principal. My Apr is 5.9. I had 8200 equity in my trade last year. Plus I put 2K down. I’ll take my plain 4 cylinder without oil dilution issues. I’m averaging 30 MPG. My insurance is 229.00 a month for full coverage. I refused to pay last year 300-325 a month for insurance for an Accord or Civic plus the payment.

A former colleague of mine consistently drove his 2023 Honda Civic EX-L between Chicago and Los Angeles, accumulating over 200,000 miles without encountering any issues. Conversely, other coworkers experienced numerous problems with their hybrid vehicles. In certain instances, opting for simplicity can yield more favorable outcomes.

No. The bigger screen in the touring has hondalink assist, so if u get in a crash, it will call 911 for u. It still has buttons as well

👍🏻 I picked up a sport touring 18 months ago. We are happy with it. The hatchbacks also come with a stiffer rear spring to add to the sporty drive and to accommodate heavier loads hatchbacks may be used for. Just what I heard. I have viewed your prior civic reviews. They have all been entertaining and informative. Thanks

I have the 2021 Accord, it's great, but as a daily it's just too big, the high belt-line gives me issues in day to day driving. I hate the visibility over the 2014, and certainly the 2010 Accord was the last great Accord that didn't feel like it's belt-line/greenhouse comes from Detroit. I'm looking at the Civic HB EX-L now that my wife is upgrading from the CRV to a Passport.

I thought about cross-shopping a base model 2024 Acura Integra with a loaded Honda Civic Hatchback. I ultimately went with the Integra as I got a good deal on it, I liked the styling more, and I appreciated the extra power and free maintenance the Integra has over the Civic Hatchback. That said, I wish some of the comfort features in this loaded Civic Hatchback, like adjustable lumbar support, dual-zone climate controls, and a folding center armrest in the rear were standard on the Integra, and I wish the Integra had a rear wiper like the Civic Hatchback.

Only Integra with technology package is better than Civic touring. The A-Spec ones are junk, not worth the premium you pay for seemingly "luxury" car and 20 more horsepower. Very noisy cars, noise vibration and harshness are a total failure by Honda
