Just got one so far loving the car
Great job bro & I'm ready to buy this vehicle.
I recently sold my MK6 GLI manual, I loved that car, I was thinking going the Audi route but I love manuals so i might just end up getting the MK7 GLI like this one. Great video!!
Good review! I’m seriously considering this because of all the features that are provided. One question? can you turn off that annoying pumped in engine sound when you customize the settings? Thanks for covering the comparison models, and I want to see if any major changes occur for the 2025 model year.

Thanks! Unfortunately you can't turn it off completely through the head unit. You can disable it by using an OBDeleven or by unplugging the soundaktor. I've only seen this done on GTI's and Golf R's but I'm sure it can be done on the GLI since it's the same platform
Very disappointed that this top trim Jetta doesn’t have factory Navigation…I assumed it had when I bought it, and it doesn’t. The navigation icon on the head unit just says “vehicle not equipped”

My dealer said it doesn’t and the button for Nav doesn’t pull up my navigation. It says “not available”. Do I have to do something to activate it?? I’m 1800 miles in without navigation 😂

@@donnyr2788 usually the dealer activates it during delivery to the customer. I believe you can manually turn on your nav by downloading VW’s Car Net app to your smartphone.
I am a retiree from auto dealer industry. That is a great value for a car. I would buy this car in a heartbeat if I needed a car.
Love the design of the car. But for the money i feel the interior is a bit too cheap and u don't get as many features as u should. No vents in rear, plastic everywhere, snd the speakers r kinda bad. Either way when i drove it, it was a great ride.
I know you didn't just say a GTI is more practical than a GLI. They're tiny any can't fit anything unless you put the seats down..... Then you lose the ability to carry rear passengers. At least in a Jetta you can put golf clubs, hockey bags, luggage, and even road trip the car in comfort. Things a GTI will never be able to do.
