Would love to see Milo get a shocking Supporting Actor nomination.

The Boy and The Heron deserves to win just based on traditional hand drawn frame by frame animation and overall how poetic the film is with packed full of metaphors and hidden messages throughout the movie you blink and you'll miss it! the spiderverse however is a 3D animation jam packed with colours and styles that smothered with score that for me felt like i was watching a lengthy music video that's cool and all but in some parts i forgot i was watching a movie, on top of that it ended with the cliffhanger which left me really unsatisfied this race is like comparing a pure poetry in motion to a pure entertainment. a perfect example to compare eastern films vs. western films

I agree it would be very refreshing and cool to see The Boy and the Heron win the category. I did love SpiderVerse though so I’d be happy with either!

Cillian has done loads of projects in the UK, and is hugely respected there. Don't see a problem arising. They were a bit iffy with Peaky Blinders, but I think that's more to do with the show than him.

Gosling gave one of the most iconic performances of the decade....ugh...okay i just want at least one other supporting actor to get a televised win...rdj didnt even give a great speech.

@@OscarFilmForecast How so? She was not even in the whole movie. She was ok, but Emmas' role was more challenging having to act from a baby to an adult. Emma is the best performance in the category.

@@tonyg76 she’s not my favorite in the category. I prefer Hüller, Stone, Portman and maybe a few others, but I still thought she did very good in KOTFM so I’m still happy to see her win. I think it’s much more meaningful to her career than it would be to Emma Stone

I discount the BAFTas bc they are before SAG again...i think SAG will really tell us what the oscar winner will be

Jack, I too wanted Melton to win... I someone guessed Anatomy's wins, but totally missed on supporting actor 😂 I think the reactions to the host was honestly a little bit of hysteria. Especially coming off of the Astra's the night before, which was a complete disaster. I never thought Bradley was winning and frankly his nomination could go to someone far more deserving.

Happy for the Poor Things momentum but worried since the globes historically do not overlap with the Best Picture Oscar Winner. Four times in the last 20 years a 10% overlap yikes.

Yeah I don’t think Poor Things has much of a shot at a Best Picture win to be honest. It’s far too divisive and extreme

I would have voted for Natalie too. I hated her character, but loved her performance. Also, If you’re ugly, then Hilary Swank deserves her two oscars…. (She does not)

What was so great about Lilys' speech and performance? I do not get it with her at all!
