@Ben Hardy you need to address the greed factor these auto companies are starting to embrace with their "pay-to-play" features. I have been a loyal GM customer for over 30 years. I, for one, will be looking for an alternative to GM next time because I am not interested in a monthly bill in order to use the features of the vehicle I already paid for. It may prove impossible to purchase a new auto without, in which case, I will be actively searching the used market for a suitable older vehicle and i will happily do whatever I need to maintain it. The thought of purchasing a $60,000 auto and then having to pay a fee to use it's installed options is just one step too far in my book and I am certain there are many who agree with me. Not that the auto makers will care.....

I think this one is a home run... beautiful car inside and out. I agree the 2.7 would be a significant upgrade over the 2.5, but I understand their powertrain platforms and it isn't as easy as plug and play. Thankfully the 2.5 is decent enough. The rest of the package more than makes up for it. Forget the Denali though, get the AT4 variant and save yourself ten grand.

Love the Grizzley Adams look! With ICE being more regulated and possible phase out in the future, engine choices will be severely limited and turbos. Power, but how reliable - for how long. Nice unit. Second row captain's chairs make access to third row seats easier. Engine is transversely mounted, not longitudinal.

I kinda feel like when you judge the 3 row SUV’s for 3rd row legroom, maybe it would be a good idea to adjust the 2nd row to a position where it’s comfortable for you & then sit in the 3rd row. Mostly any mid-size 3 row SUV with the 2nd row all the way back on its tracks is gonna make it seem like the 3rd row is super tight for adults. Just my opinion. Thanks for the video though.

Turbo direct injection high output 4 cylinder with Active fuel management - complicated package but one thing for sure longevity is always a question. This 2.7l is always strained with high pressure from DI and turbo . Oil quality is very essential in this kind of setup because AFM depends on clean oil to operate properly. turbo and direct injection are notorious on fouling up oil life quickly. Ill probably wait 3-5 years to see how these GM TURBO 4 will hold up.

For me the deal breaker is the white stitching. I would have been fine with a darker color stitch but the contrast is just too much. The VW Atlas SEL R-Line also comes with contrast stitching but because of the pattern it does look more tasteful. Other than that this new design looks great, but the price over $60k is going to deter some buyers.

That 4 cylinder noise on a $60k vehicle is just disappointing. I have driven 3 of the 3.6’s with no issues. I traded in my 2017 on a 2024 Sierra Denali Ultimate so a little different of a world but one of the driving forces in that was the lack of an engine option that wasn’t a 4 cylinder in the new Acadia/Traverse. I think they’re making a mistake moving the Acadia and all of its cousins to this engine. The gas mileage simply isn’t that much better.

You drive over some 1" bumps at 30 mph and conclude "smooth as butter" or something like that. That is not how you determine a vehicle's ride. Try some real potholes and vertical bumps and then say something believable. The 2.7 vs the 2.5 is not the reason for reduced torque. The reduced displacement improves refinement. As is the 326 ft lbs of torque is best in class with 5000 lbs of towing. GM could get more torque with software and turbo settings but not necessary for most. Everything is a trade off and more torque would be lower mpg. As is, the new engine is barely more frugal than the old 3.6

Until they offer a V6 or a hybrid option not going to waste my time or money who wants the same engine as a Chevy Equinox pushed harder for more HP and less gas mileage? You know that means early engine failure. I would seriously look at a Honda Pilot with a V6. GM is so behind on the hybrid game when they thought they should go all in on batteries and have had to back off since the public has decided with their wallets that ICE is still more convenient.

It’s just GM continuing to market less for more $$$$$ and trying to convince all the car buyer dummies to take the risk. The resale on these will be terrible because the engine reliability is so iffy. The foreign manufacturers offer more features and better reliability plus higher resale. Pay attention and buy smart…!

You don’t know anything about this engine’s reliability or the resale value, nor that it matters because people will keep these vehicles since they’re actually luxurious unlike the even more expensive Lexus TX with an interior full of plastic which most will lease. How much are the Japanese paying you to push these outdated perceptions on KZread to help their sales? You sound absolutely ridiculous.

GM should keep both garbage engines 2.5 turbo and 2.7 turbo engines put in a junkyard where they belong 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅. Middle screen flash back they use back 1986,1987 with Buick Riviera, Oldsmobile Toronto, and Cadillac sedan everything didn't work again image that 😅😅😅😅😅😅.

I hate the fact that most of the large SUVs in this segment nowadays have 4cyls I don't care if they are turbocharged they still struggle to move the vehicle the only thing I need a 4cyl in is a compact vehicle that's mainly used just to save gas and that dash GMC could have designed it better I mean come on man the designers had a chance to design interior better especially at that price point GM needs to stop cutting corners and stop trying to save money and build vehicles that people WANT
