A reminder to potential and current owners of this particular version of the Ranger, it has EURO 6 emissions system which means it has the following: - EGR - DPF - SCR SCR = AD BLUE, if no Ad Blue the engine will not start. If you do a heap of highway towing the AD BLUE tank which is now 21L will be consumed much faster, Ford claim you should be able to do 15,000km (which is service target) with approx. 18L of Ad Blue however real data usage is more like 8 to 12L before the warning message appears which tells you top refill the AD BLUE tank. if you tow the real data suggests around 6 to 9L before warning message appears, take that message seriously if you dont and vehicle consumes all AD BLUE you won't be able to start the car (well not without doing a major mod to it). This has happened to many owners of Everest over the years and now with this being 1st Ranger to have Euro 6 it will happen if you don't pay attention. Some advice? if you are doing extended travelling either refill the ad blue tank before you leave or take with you a 5L drum of ad blue with you as Ad Blue prices are wildly ranging from $1L pr litre to $15 per litre in remote areas.

awesome tip cheers. future owner.
On spec’s and usability, do you think Toyota might be in a spot of bother with their expensive GR Hilux? It just seems so glaringly obvious, the GR Hilux is way more expensive, has a smaller tub, has a way smaller payload, making it almost useless as a work/touring vehicle and an antiquated 4x4 system … I know people will talk “Toyota reliability” and “resale”, but it looks like Toyota might have to bring forward the new model fast … what’s your thoughts?
I don’t know if I should go for wildtrack x or the v6 wildtrack
Not bad for such a big pick up ute
In Mexico we get the Wildtrack with the 2.3 Ecoboost, it is much quicker than the Diesel kzread.info/dash/bejne/poVomaywkdyxn6w.html
Dmax is quicker by 1sec wow

I mean, it's a pickup offroad truck, does anybody care about drag racing these things? It has to take you and your stuff up there where other type of vehicles can't. At least this is the way I see it. Two 2 Litres version is the most balanced for its purpose. But that's me I guess
Nothing wild about this
0 to 100 over 10 seconds….. I think most shopping trolleys are faster. Max accreditation of 0.51 g is very low…. No shove in the back 😮.
