Great job today by Utah, I hope they can continue to go far in the postseason!

I didn't finish watching the meet, but I had to stop after the second rotation to express how frustrating it is to see the UB judges applying different standards to evaluate Utah and Maryland. Zirbes had her 1/2 pirouette completely off on the low bar, McCallum has a 0.1-0.15 deduction just for the dismount. Sabado had a leg separation regrasping her jaeger plus soft knees on the dismount, yet all of them managed to score 9.9 or higher. It's just pathetic

Comparing Marylands bars to Utahs doesn’t make sense. Maryland lacked good body position, pointed toes, strong hand stands and landings. There was only one routine of theirs that deserved a 9.9 and that was the final one. As far as Utah goes, I can agree with you on Zirbes and Sabado. They shouldn’t have broke the 9.9. McCallum’s score I feel is pretty good. She didn’t have any deductions other than the landing meaning it would have been a 10. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I have seen way worse judging throughout the regionals so if that’s the cutoff for you I’m not sure you’ll be able to watch some of the others.

Wtf! Utah was ridiculously overscored on bars!! That was awful!

Knew that the 2 teams from Maryland were going to be in the bottom 2 since they were up against 2 legends.
