I would have like to have seen Ferarri go full on and run blue/white with blue wheels. Agree it looks contrived with the light blue on red

Peter, great analysis as per usual. Really appreciate your practice and qualifying segments being separate for anyone who may be waiting a day to watch quali & race w/ friends!

Over the top with the blue? Most complaints I've been hearing is they didn't go far enough, why even bother? They made a big thing about it, including all blue driver's suits and that's all the could come up with?

I look forward to hearing your point of view on these KZread presentations. They are very informative. May I make a suggestion? The table at 5:24 has an alignment problem. The first column has 20 drivers. The second column has 18 entries. The third column has 20. May I suggest that the columns be labeled? I’m not sure what column 2 is.

I mentioned this as well. I got a response from a guy saying I’m wrong. Either his eyesight is bad or he is trolling me. I’m not taking away from Peter’s insight or knowledge, when I was watching the vid and trying to read his chart something wasn’t adding up.. still a good vid

Your analysis is top notch mate! You make the guys on sky or channel 4 look like they are a bit slow,. I reckon you would make for a killer presenter along with Nico Rosberg.. I really lislike Nico but he is a chatty little bssatrd.

Would have been great if Ferrari went went with all blue with some red accents. Would have made it iconic.

THIS IS WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT WHEN I SAY "WHAT IS F1 MISSING, ANALYSES LIKE THIS!". F1 is not just one by car and driver and Peter never fails to acknowledge that. The set up was more or less right by the team. That allowed for more homework, which allows for better strategy calculations.

@@geoffreycollings4678 check again bud, there are 20 names, in the middle column the font is bigger and there are only 18 times given. By the time you are down to the fifth name the time is not aligned with the proper name. I’m not the only one that noticed

Alonso not doing a soft tire run had nothing to do with timing. He said he’s saving tires for quali and the race. He doesn’t want to run out of tires like they did in China. He also said he’s sacrificing the sprint for the race because of the little amount of points available in the sprint.

The blue was mostly to celebrate 60 years of Ferrari racing in the US. NART Ferrari initially ran blue cars. That’s where the color comes from. That it’s also HP’s color was just convenient.

Aw Peter, the blue SF livery isn’t that bad.

Ferrari don’t think Sainz isn’t good enough, they just had an opportunity to get a 7 time WDC and took it.

@@pimjcb9964 Yes past his best. But he brings eyeballs, reputation, sponsors and prestige. He is still far better than he is showing in the Mercedes at the moment. Hopefully Ferrari produce another good car next year and we can judge him versus Leclerc.
