Well, my fave is the Aston Martin and it came last. 😄 No hard feelings, opinions are just that... opinions. The rest is mostly fine except for Mercedes which is surely a top 3 but I guess you applied the same logic as the one for Aston Martin. Wishing you a great season of track action Kym!

Great work Kym. I would like to see your professional trackside opinion after a few races. (another youtube to add to your all ready packed schedule.) I find the cars look different in different light levels, especially at night. Will be following you again this season.

As always, you've got a great eye. I can't wait for the season. I'll be back in Austin this year, as well as either Mexico or Canada. Oh, and if schedules align, the season finale too. Here's to a great season, Kym... Stay classy!

Great as always for the photographer perspective. Would love to see what you think of the team kits from a photography standpoint.

This perspective is from a photographer who'll be at the race, but from the majority of the fans perspective who'll be watching it on TV, the rankings might be very different. For me, 1. Ferrari 2. Mercedes 3. VCARB 4. McLaren 5. Aston 6. Williams 7. Redbull 8. Kick Sauber 9. Alpine 10. Haas Ofc, the rankings might change depending on how they'll look during the race.

Agree on Williams. I do think they will get a podium this season. They spent more than half the season not working on the FW45 but only on the FW46 with the focus on adding downforce and predictability in handling. Agreed that the driver would be Alex.

I think the cars styling gets more conservative every year. The very pinnacle of sport, you think they would be going nuts trying to outdo each other, especially given the incredible exposure the cars get.

Brands are very touchy about their public image, it makes sense that they'd want a simple design. I bet in their eyes they like simpler paint jobs, making their branding/logo stand out more. Not to mention the brand image of the teams themselves, they'd probably try and avoid being tacky. Also perhaps having a car that isn't bright helps you sneak up on people being harder to spot in the mirror 😅😂

Sauber car looks like it's carbon fibre painted with flow-vis, but it works.

Red Bulls livery to me is so iconic the bull on the engine cover will always be a win for me, vCard is 1, Ferrari 2, Red Bull 3, merc 4

The Aston livery is #1 or #2 without doubt. Kim has poor aesthetic taste, surprisingly. Sounded like “easiest to photograph” were the driving reasons behind his picks.

Racing Bull IMO is 1st, Stake F1 is 2nd, McLaren is 3rd i love the bright colours of the top 3, the rest just have no imagination and look almost the same every year. now we just have tp see if they are as fast as they are good looking

Uhhh mostly like the choices you made, but would trade Mercedes for sauber, I think the silver nose looks amazing and the sauber green doesn't look that great. Enjoyed the Alfa Romeo red much more Great video as always!

Aston Martin did an amazing job with their livery! I’m a RB fan and I know it’s a classic livery but I think they are due a bit of a change no? I’m a,so a bit. As car fan and when they put out the liveries for the upcoming season it’s a treat to get a look at them. Anyway, perhaps RB does something special for the three USA races again this year, they were great in 2023.

Personally I'm smitten the most with the Williams. She's a beauty and I hope she'll be a beast on track. Some of your comments made from a professional point of view as photographer, for instance regarding the Mercedes, make absolute sense!!! respect and thank you for your perspective and rating!

I agree with Aston. I know people love it, but on the track it's dull and dark and gets confused with the Merc black.

Stake F1 reminds me of an Indycar livery

I think even official f1 social media don't use stake logo on sauber, they use kick logo instead

Interesting list. Personally, I think the lack of team personality in most liveries is a huge mistake. Seems like most cars are just carbon fiber and some color for the sponsors , wich isn’t just difficult to watch, but difficult to remember. Ferrari lead on merch sales, even when they loose, bc they are consistent with branding and people remember them from when they were winning. This… this is just not good for the sport

My favorite is the one with all that carbon exposed, simply lovely👌🏻👌🏻

I never liked Mclaren's papaya colour. And I prefer the Alpine to be a fuller Pink Panther. The Cash Grabb car looks great! My favorite this year is the Sauber Ben-10 colored car.

Mercs, Austin Martin and Ferrari for my top liveries. Sauber for worse livery I thought William's 2023 livery was better (for my taste) And the blue in Mclaren's 2023 livery added something different, more subtly complimenting the orange.

Mate, I call it as I see it

Mclaren, Sauber, Alpine are boring af. Williams also pretty dull. Aston is pretty bad as well with the carbon on the sidepod. Red Bull is what it is. Cash machine is pretty cool but something about it is a bit off. Haas is actually a decent looking racing car. Mercedes is so close to being great, it will probably grow on me but there is no beating that Ferrari.

I would put Ferrari and Mercedes a lot lower and probably Aston Martin a bit higher but we all have different tastes and I am not a photographer. McLaren, Stake and Racing Bulls will not get lost in the grid.

I love the Aston Martin livery so can’t agree with that one. To me it is timeless and beautiful- so much nicer than Haas, McLaren, Alpine and others. But beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Interesting list, I think the Alfa Romeo looked much better than the new Stake, I think it’s actually the worst livery on the grid, but I love the new Merc and the Vcarb :)

For me : 1. Ferrari 2. Mercedes ( i like the silver arrow represent) 3. Toro Rosso ❤ (The others are just meh for me) 4. AM (dosent look well on photos) 5. Williams 6. Alpine (too much carbon tho 2023 was way nicer) 7. RB (looks similar to 2023 but least they are consistent in showing their colour personality) 8. Mclaren ( too MUCH black.. orange & black is a no for me) 9. Haas (Black looking car) 10. Stake (THE GREEN IS DISGUSTING)

Aussie taste and opinion. I would put Aston at #2 and I’m not even a fan of their team! Classy. Not like Stake! Omg Stake. Dark days for F1 and style!

For me all those black carbon fibre cars are a big fail They need to make it so that all of the car needs to be painted And if they still want black it needs to be black paint With that said Ferrari is iconic and is my favourite. Also mclarens wheel covers being the Chrome logo is one of my fav adverts

I saw the photoshoot where they were standing on platforms in a studio and Valtteri looks very unserious in the behind the scenes footage. It's mostly because of the fluorescent green but his hair and mustache is not helping.

Redbull should be #10 for making 0 effort
