And they did, Google signed up when they weren't doing so well, so they got a great deal - but sponsorships are normally short (5 years for oracle is unusual) so that means McLaren can negotiate a better deal this time

When the Singapore Grand Prix is in town every year, there are these Pop up stores along Orchard Road, selling F1 Team Merchandise. A single round neck T-Shirt could cost around SGD $120. The teams sure are making a lot of money from Merch Sales.

plus their merch quality is crap. The round neck tees are rough quality cotton with team logo on it. The polyester shirts feel thin, their polo tees the logo will crack and peel off after some wear. I mean i wanted to buy the team merch however their quality + the prices just drive me away.

If I was a sponsor don't think Id want to be on Max's car haha, usually too far in front to be on TV

A good example of a company not only wanting exposition: Since last year’s São Paulo Gran Prix a bank called BRB (Regional bank of Brasília, that is the capital of Brazil) signed a deal with Alpine, not only to have their logo in the car, but also to work together with Alpine/Renault to re-develop the motorsports in Brasília (That was really good in the past, but nowadays is abandoned).

I read today that the Miami GP was the most watched Motorsports event in history in the United States.

Kym, thanks a lot for providing nice V of 'F1 ＆ MONEY'. I personally think 1 of the points that defines F1 unique among many sports is the money some drivers bring 🤔 F1 drivers have to have fast, technical skills ＆ sometimes big sponsorship to keep the driver sheet. 'Following the stream of money' is always the KEY in every field.

Love your videos and your content; but you should call out your segue to your ads/sponsorship - Its tacky, cheap and not genuine when attempting to blend it in seamless. Be honest and transparent when selling. That is how you earn trust with your audience. Your approach in this video Kym borders on depiction, and your anything but. I know you may be experimenting with what works; but be careful - approaches like this can erode the trust you have built with your fans. Love your videos and I look forward to your posts all the time. Want to see you get 1 Million plus subscribers.
