Wow thank you for confirming I'm not crazy. Like, what in the hell was he doing in second place? Aside from conditioning, he has none of the things that have been increasingly rewarded over the last few years (aesthetics, silhouette, symmetry, balance, posing, etc. etc. - Emir is f*cked in basically every single one of these categories and has a bit of a distended gut to boot). The ordering of the whole top 10 was whack and wildly inconsistent - both in the scope of the show itself and in the broader scope of the sport in general. There's a reason Emir was 9th in NY - cause he's not very good by modern standards.
@builttolaugh

These judges must have been just random audience members , this is such a joke
Weird scoring. I get people like Emir but he's so imbalanced, unpleasantly shaped, and plagued by asymmetries. AND his gut was a bit distended / spilling out (like, you see it from a head on angle from BEHIND - bulging out at the sides - at least in this show). How is he beating someone like Stu, who at least has very good proportions (ratio of arms to legs to torso mass, etc.), symmetry, and silhouette? Idk, aside from Tonio winning, this is probably the least sensibly and consistently ordered top 10 I've seen in any show in at least a year or so. Also very inconsistent with judging in general lately - where pure conditioning has NOT been sufficient to get you to the top of the show. It's like they wanted to reward that, so gave Emir second, but then went back on that criteria to give Tonio the win (Tonio had awful lower body conditioning from behind and pretty mediocre conditioning overall). Just weird as hell. There's a reason Emir was 9th a week ago. A week can make a difference, but not that big of a difference.
@BTT72genX

I totally agree. The only thing Emir had going for him was conditioning, and that only helped to highlight his extremely unbalanced physique.

Stu's midsection isnt much better, almost always washed out. His color is weird as well, always has been really. I agree, live streams should be an industry standard. it doesn't matter if its the old normal or the new normal. we had live streams before 2020 and it was becoming more and more common before 2020 hit us... not to mention that not everyone can travel to these shows anyways.
Good work Emir 👍🏼 🇩🇪
No livestream is unacceptable at this level. What is this World’s Strongest Man?
If nodding your head gave you points then thats one way to suggest how Emir got 2nd, I had Pablo and Wolski ahead of him

Congrats Emir ! 🤘🏻
I don`t understand the judging. Tonio on 1? Okay, i get it. But his mid section doesn`t look good. Emir got rewarded for his improvement in this week, he cam much fuller than in NY. But 2nd is a reach. Walski the polish guy looked good, and Beef Stew also looked good. It was very inconsistent what they wanted to see, size or line.
Give beef stu a couple more years...he will be very dangerous.....i think his conditioning needs to get dialed in more and he needs to tighten up his back ...can't wait to see what he can do in the future..... congratulations to everyone...good luck to Tonio at the Olympia

you can’t always go by how they move the guys around… sometimes it’s obvious like Tonio being in the middle the whole time… but other times it’s not obvious, cuz they could be looking for who to put in 2nd or 3rd or 4th… etc…
It’s probably not a coincidence that they provided no live stream considering how controversial the judging seems to be
Emit had problems in new york with the tanning, he didn't get the final layer in new york backstage.

Wow, the judging was definitely off on this one. They have been waiting to gift Tonio a win for a while. Plus Emir?? They go for shape over mass, as Tonio is easily out muscled in the entire top 6, but still manage to give the worst shaped guy second??
Tonio looked fantastic and blew them out. Beef Stu has good potential, but he ain’t there yet and is being hyped at this point IMO.
This was Light .
Emir was shredded but structure is rough. Could have easily seen him in 4th or 5th
Tonio "the CLOGHER" 😂😂😂😂😂😂
You think the ifbb has tried to get a deal with a streaming service befor?
Glad to see all the competators are natural 🤣
Stu should have been lower to at least 5th place. Bigger doesn't mean he's better, and he may just improve with time if he gets after it consistently.
Got really tired of hearing about quality of the video. I get your point. I agree.
Ya Stu is bigger , but looks 8 weeks out conditioning wise . I don’t know why we’re not talking about the massive gashes in his quads as well , self harm or not it’s still distracting from the overall physique
I think Tonio got seriously outmuscled, especially in the legs. If Beef Stew comes in with the same conditioning he wins hands-down. I don't see Tonio placing top 10 at the Olympia this time, too many mass monsters have left him behind; Lusford, Walker, Dauda, Labrada, Choopan, Jacked, Krizzo, Ramy ?, and Brandon Curry is looking crazy!.

Stu would look a lot bigger with short hair.
Emir is top
So Tonio wasnt the biggest.. wasmt the most conditioned.. is it purely who has the best shape now? I see why others are saying this show was a flop

Abs are an issue also
Once again Nick doesn't disappoint. He butchered Emir's name when he pronounced it 😂
Krystian should be second...I don't understand why Emir was 2nd. He hasn't better symmetry. Waist bigger and worst back...but judges decided so it is like that
I thought that big Korean guy would be in the top 2. Stu has terrible color and can’t seem to hold a pose.
@davidcampos2615

Korean back severely lacking
Stu looks good but no wow factor and no abs, number 15 biggest body part was his head and gut and zero arms, first place was warranted and the purple trunks definitely should been second looked great
can you not keep talking about how they move the guys on stage? its much more interesting to talk about the physiques themselves

@@zerothirty24 ??? Ben Huellen irritated as he did as if the NYP was just a duel between Tim and Emir. Tim won by an edge and thought to have chances to win the Cali pro. Now they both know that there is just a thin distance to the top. If Tim beat Emir in New York he can beat them all however, he must think like Arnold and work hard with fun and smiling 😁. The drug and synthol aspect is too difficult to bring it here because these are secrets.
Lol being short is an advantage in the open class.
