2024 Breakout: Noah Fant The Pro Bowler?

Since coming over to the Seahawks from the Broncos as part of the Russell Wilson trade, Noah Fant has been a solid player for the Seahawks, if sometimes hardly featured. The team re-signed Noah this offseason, and he seems set to enter an offense that fits his skillset, and ability to create quick separation very well. While Noah has been a fine, steady pro, he has always seemed to have more upside lurking beneath, part of what once made him a Top-20 pick. This season that shadowed potential may be realized.

When we throw him the ball he always makes the most of it. I can’t wait to see what our offense looks like!

In a Grubb offense, I can easily see Noah getting 50-60 touches, 7-800 yds and 8 TD's...and that's with the WR corps we already have! Imagine using DK to 'set' up Fant for a couple catches, then Fant sets up DK for one or two amazing DK style catches. That's on the 'big' side of scrimmage. On the small side...who you gonna cover? Tyler or Jaxon? Both can catch n run, both are sneaky smooth, and both are slippery. In a Grubb-run offense, and the receiver-tight end corps we have I can easily see 5 guys with 800 yds and 8-10 TD's a piece. Doesn't sound very impressive until you add up 5x800yds...does it?
Pete and the coaching in general lost their collective minds towards the end. JSN with 50% of his receptions behind the LOS? Walker constantly being jammed up the middle? Charb wasn't out there at times because DJ Dallas was? WHAT? Don't get me started on the defense. When I saw Al Woods in 2022 dropping into coverage I knew it was over.

Pete and that dumbass staff of his definitely went too wild and tried too hard to be MAD SCIENTIST and invest to much on EXPERIMENTAL project players through out the years instead of the players that ARE THE BEST and will make US A BETTER TEAM. Finally change is happening, no more room for experiments

Yup The Pete Carrol era has been cooked for a while… Pete never seem to adjust with the modern day NFL and he was getting passed by.

Our production from Tightends will be the deciding factor for how far our offense can go this season. You can only rely on the run game and your WRs so much.. Tightends have to do a lot more for us to be good. Need MORE Noah Fant, and I cant wait to see what Barner and Pharaoh Brown and hopefully Jack Westover will provide for us.. Could be our best TE rooms in years and we’ve had some good TEs in the past but NEVER use them consistently.. There were HUGE spans where our TEs just werent getting enough usage in the passing game. Blocking is so important but it has to be a marriage of both so the offense is less predictable and the TEs will be more consistent with whatever their assignment is. They get gassed blocking over and over and over… Fant can be SO dominate this upcoming season.. Hope he scores a lot more TDs and gets a lot more Seams and post routes. Need him to be that TRUE IOWA Tightend that we all want him to be soooo badly.. and with consistency. Can only play football for so long, gotta make the most of these TEs and the pure talent they have while we can!
