I'm a die hard Ranger fan and I have to tell you, this is an outstanding presser for both Torts and the room. Excellent questions and thoughtful, clear answers. I still miss Torts and even since his Ranger days he's learned so much. Flyers fans your outlook is bright. Best of luck. Except against the Blueshirts lol.

We are in better shape than in decades. Danny gets it, Torts was simply fantastic. Jones gets it.

Goodbye Frost. We need some more offensive help on the blueline, so if there's value for Risto we need to take it. I hope we keep Farabee as he keeps improving every year, while Frost is just an inconsistent offensive player that isn't going to keep getting ice time here and more young players start to come up.

Daniel Briere gets it. The real goal is to think long-term and do the math right, to win the Stanley Cup and not be a team that can merely make the playoffs. I wish my fellow Sabres fans could see this. The Flyers are in good hands.

I think Denver Barkey is looking good this season. He still needs some strength and to put on muscle, though. We got him in the 3rd round. If he was in the draft this year, he'd be a first rounder with 102 points in the OHL. The center they just signed from U of Denver, Rizzo, had 44 points in 30 games... looked good. And Bonk of course, with over a point per game, looked good. Lot of other guys looked good, and most of the young goalies looked great. McLaughlin from North Dakota looked good this year also. Brink really needs more playing time. Lacynski looked pretty solid in Lehigh Valley, and so did Cooper Marody.

Forget Marc Staal come on Danny ok for Poehling and Hathaway

The Walker trade did something to them, and they couldn't recover from it.

And yet no one touched the elephant in the room. The Power(less) Play. I would be seriously looking for a new coach and yet no one asks that question. The Flyers players looked like a high school team out there against the NHL teams. 12.2% is just not acceptable even for this team in a serious rebuilding situation. They have some talent, and they should have been much better. Whoever is the coach should sneak up backwards to collect their paycheck, because they sure mailed it in last year.

You can’t rebuild your team with high end talent picking at 12, make up your mind, rebuild it has been way too long in mediocrity.

Because of the number of contracts they already have, they have to subtract somewhere in order to add. And they have some guys they can trade that have value elsewhere that don't have as much value here.

I like to see Danny , sharp , jones , leclair get on ice with these kids to teach them stuff coaches might not be able to do

Flyers were overachievers and underachievers for the last part of the season. Flyers have no real talent, just average skilled players. Devils, Blackhawks, Canadiens will win cups before Flyers. Flyers are the Cleveland Browns of the NHL.

So basically the fans should expect more mediocrity. Can’t blame the players for their point productions when the team does not have a true #1 or #2 centers. Stop lying Danny, Trevor Zegras & Kent Johnson have been on the block for months, & Martin Necas is on the block. Michkov wants to play in the NHL this upcoming season. I have confidence he will find a better organization to help him, & demand a trade. I can think of a team he would be released tomorrow for. Pathetic that Rocky Thompson still has a job. Pathetic that Sharp & Heatly have to help him. Where is the accountability for Rocky? This organization is a joke.

They haven't even started to rebuild yet. Outside of Michkov they have drafted zero high end talent and they have nothing coming this draft. This is going to get worse before it gets better.

50 years should be enough said. 1) look at roster, why so many guys over 30? 2) Who is the center piece of this rebuild? 3) Finally under the cap and Seeler is resigned using Cap space. 4) Neanderthal coach that enjoys ridiculing players in public. 5) no company or organization can execute two strategies…make playoffs and rebuild. 6) NHL believes ex players can become world class executives. 7)Comcast needs to sell.

“Betting”? Tots had the team playing extremely far over their skis. They will likely move a couple players and bring a few up. They need a lot more talent. And drafting 12 doesn’t exactly help this. The likelihood that they take a step back before moving forward for a season, unfortunately even two, is high. There are a lot of holes on this team - goalie situation Is still questionable, depth on D, our top six forwards are bad. Danny mentioned Drysdale - the kid likely has a bleak future with his shoulder issues. Then you have Morgan frost - he IS NOT a second line center

Sweet Jesus. The franchise and their obsession with Morgan Frost. The kid is not a second liner imho? 13 goals….thats it. A career of only 39 goals in over 200 games. Idk. I am not nhl scout or gm, but I just don’t believe he is part of the future

Even with all the young D coming up, wouldn't mind keeping Erik Johnson around. He is a steady veteran kind of like Pronger, Niskanen - think he was good for the blue line overall. Would be great to add a 1C but that is expensive. Would also like to see Farabee go through the 'Sanhiem offseason training program' and put on some size and muscle, I think it will help him immensely.
