The BMW X7 and Mercedes-Benz GLS have always been the default choice for buyers looking for full-size German luxury SUVs. While both the SUVs have a lot in common, they go about doing their luxury SUV business in different ways. But, the question is, which one offers the most well-rounded luxury SUV experience among these two German heavyweights?
We pit them against each other to find the answer. Not to mention, to make it a little more straightforward (and to make our jobs a bit easier), we decided to narrow it down to ten questions, which we believe, are going to be the most relevant for every prospective buyer who is about to splurge a crore-and-a-half on these high-riding German chariots.

BMW can update their steering and add massagers in 1st and 2nd row . Also should launch their M50d at an aggressive price...
I can't even afford a cycle watching which is better 1cr+ car😢
Mercedes Brand value does help brand to sell more cars here , but Worldwide Sales figures of BMW IS MORE
Tax is crazy on them. Roads are not like Sharjah. Would love to buy elsewhere not here. Here thar is ok to use daily or a creta. Maybe a triber too

Taxation is crazy, no doubt, but still a lot of takers for these SUVs in India. And while the roads aren't perfect, they are getting better for sure.

The X7 has grown on me. It's ugly handsome. The Merc on the other hand....the grill has made it substantially worse looking.

Sorry for this comment, but the comparison of the 2nd row is wrong. You can't compare 6 seater to 7 seatr car, because in this case in BMW X7 as 7 seater option all seats in 2nd row are flat when you push Max space button in trunk. Still good job, but in this case, details have matter. Regards😊

Thanks for your comment. That's a valid point you have raised, but the petrol version of the X7 isn't available as a seven-seater in India, which is why it was not mentioned.
