Sadly, I dont think so. GLS (X7 competitor) sold 2200 units last year and an equal number of the GLE (X5 competitor). This number was total than ALL of the competition combined (surprisingly for the GLE which has X5, XC90, RR Sport and the Defender 130(?), Porsche Cayenne as alternates - still managed to outsell ALL of them combined). Long story short, the buyers in this segment - esp the GLS/ X7 look for badge value and perception than plain features. But, this year, lets see how the X7 performs

Gls is still a better option take the two for test drives you will understand

@@TooC0mplex4U I don't think test drives are in favour of the GLS. That's a BMW buddy, it's made for driving pleasure. Moreover, both the X7 and GLS have somewhat the same power figures (for both Petrol and Diesel), so it makes sense that the BMW has to be better...🤷

I don't know ehy everyone prefer the X7 over the GLS.. I personally love the GLS more.. The class, space and road presence is just unmatched, sure the X7 is more sporty though ❤

Plain badge value. Not that BMW lacks but majority of the buyers of these segment cars prefer to be seen in a mercedes or maybach. There are always exceptions - am referring to the majority though. Sales numbers point so.

@@arvind50 Agree with your points as well 👍 I myself would also choose Merc when I'm spending so much, just for that image and brand value ❤️ Even BMW can't match that feel... (Not disrespecting BMW fanboys 🙏🙏🙏)

How abt trunk capacity ??

Good review. GLS580 owner here in US. Why is the exterior design so weird on this? Mine has AMG night package, 22" black spoke wheels, Burmesiter 4d, massage rear seats and acoustic comfort package. Do they have AMG version for India?

Nah, we Indians are more luxury focused so it has a more stately design, amg line style is not there for normal models over here, only full fledged amg models will be available
