Amazing video! I don't know if you know this, but all you have to do is lightly push your turn signal stalk up or down so it doesn't click and stay on, and it will blink your turn signal three times for you so you don't have to keep manually clicking and unclicking your signal stalk to turn your turn signals on and off like you're driving a vehicle from the 90's. It's a feature I love in my Infiniti. Most newer cars have this feature now.

I don’t think you can do this with this car. I’ve seen reviews on the turn indicator stalk and unlike others or previous generations it’s actually not damped. I have a 6er GT and I know exactly what you mean. Potentially cost cutting measures although have to see it myself.

Of course it's situational but as someone who's currently driving a 2021 520d m-sport I think it's rare that I only want to indicate three times. Three times is often way too little to properly show others your intention when driving and feels like a dick head move to indicate and slide over at the same time. It feels like you're just indicating because you're obliged to, not to actually help others understand what your intentions are. If it's sparsely populated on the road I could see the benefit of it I guess, but its looking like I'll be getting my hands on a 2024 530i m-sport or similar in a month or two and if that car eliminates those times I accidentally flick it too lightly that's a pro to me!

@@erikhjortsater5461 LOL, what are you guys talking about? 3 blinks is very useful feature, which has been in common use for many years already. It is quite handy when changing lanes while the car is in (fast) motion, like on a highway or in multi-lane city streets. For some other situations, the full turn signal is more appropriate, of course.

@@titibobo2000 idk it takes more than 3 blinks to check over your shoulder and your mirror. Of course an experienced driver knows his surroundings in a highway scenario but in general it’s good practice to actually do all the checks. Gives other drivers, even if they are about to pull the most outrageously stupid maneuver ever, time to see what your intentions are. I therefore never use the quick 3 blinks, because I do always carry out all checks despite not needing to. Hence, to me, it’s a useless feature.

3 blinks is only useful on highway when people are far away from you. All other cases you need more than 3 blinks

All functioning gauges are computerized now, that's more futuristic, so these are now all standard features on newer cars coming out now in 2024. In a word, that's real cool. These cars are still pricey though, added features with the bells and whistles will cost you more.

Throw in an illuminated grille, the biggest screen you can find, some gaming rgb lighting, hyper-eco vegan organic seats and floor mats, as few buttons as possible and that's the current state of the automotive industry. They didn't even bother to make the door sill trims?

Yes, it is. The ambient light stripe is too wide and bright, as well as the screens. Also, that female guardian angel voice is pleasant but annoying at the same time. I guess the voice can be switched off and the light brightness can be adjusted. All these lights in the cabin, flashing to the driver, are very distracting in the night. They reduce visibility to the dark outside and cause sore eyes. They don't help driving safety either.

That glare at night will kill off one’s eyes. It’s unbearable. BMW had it right with orange lit dashboard of older models.

You can control the brightness levels of all that. And even completely turn off the LED ambient lines

Cost cutting cheapness. I have a friend who is an engineer for BMW. This car costs 20% less to make than the previous shape.they have cut costs by using plastic and having minimalist design as an excuse to save money

M sport is typically mostly a cosmetic package and some upgraded brakes. The performance of a 530i is same whether it is M sport or not. You would need a 540i to get an extra two cylinders and a total of 375hp

The ambient lighting really messes with my eyes. Once i drove my gf a3 i had to turn them off because my eyes started to burn. So from me a big no no

You can turn them off. Also you can decide how bright they shine.

If they set out to make this car as ugly as possible, they succeeded. The illuminated kidney is dreadful. With the german prestige, less was more. Now the prestige is gone and we have honda-esque neon everything. Sigh.

For me it isn't the number it's the experience & have to fit my life style. One more statement, this vehicle have to much light, dude my eyes are hurting watching this film. Imagine seating in that car for over 1h 😵
