I fell from my bike in just a week after purchasing it....becoz turning radius is very less and also the place where i took a turn had a dip which i didnt knew.....for short riders like me....be little carefull while taking a u turn especially from your right side.....if u are acustomed to riding heavy bikes then no problem....agar app phele se heavy bikes chalate h tph problem nhi hoga...

Bro i have a question please reply like in planes we can ride our bikes at 6th gear also but im from darjeeling hill's and we mostly need 1,2,3 gear and dominar 250 weight is around 180 and including rider weight and fuel it cross above 230-40 so does dominar have that power to pickup rider and pillion in 2nd or 3rd gear in hills cause using 1st gear need lot of fuel and it can be higher than budget 😢reply please

In hills, if you pickup the bike in 2nd or 3rd gear with pillion, then it will lead to clutch burning whether it's Dominar or Royal Enfield. Hills are exactly the place where 1st gear should be used, because you need maximum torque. About your query, Dominar 250 has a high revving oversquare engine which has strong midrange and top end, but weak low end. And at 180+ kg, it's heavy. So it will feel laggy during stop-start riding in the hills. Bikea like FZ25, Pulsar N250 and Royal Enfield have strong low end and are much better to ride in hilly roads.

I didn't know these models had a gear indicator, i gave up on d250 just for this reason.

Best in the budget for touring, no match in comfort and smoothness on highways and also it performs decent on offroad. I've traveled to kinnaur and spiti valley just after monsoon and the bike performed decent with full luggage on and i found the ground clearance is enough it never touched any rocks or any speed breaker during the trip. Also the every part is easily available online on 99rpm so i don't have to worry about. Done 10k kms as of now and it's the most value for money tourer, also the looks and feel this bike gives no other bike in this price category is close to this. I've upgraded the rear tyre to 140 section so cornering and rear looks is all sorted now.

Dominar 250 comes out to be 2lac 30 aprox. Bajaj makes the triumph scrambler 400x too, which has a triumph badging and just 90 thousand extra (Noida mein its 3.18L) , I'm puzzled what to do. I have budget for both, but if dominar offers a good enough ride on highways as well, why spend 1 lac extra, should I save that money? Please assist

* M I S I N F O R M A T I O N* (no hate to you....only for highlighting) ground clearence is very good and more than sufficient....me piche ek 100kg ka banda ko baitha kar offroad kiya hu plus bare bare bumpers se cross kiya hu...never touched the bumper when it should have....mainly bikes touch the ground near the mid section..where usually the double stand is there...since there is no double stand there is no issue....P L U S the exhaust is also high from the ground.....CONCLUSION: NO ISSUE IN BUMPY ROADS.....ground clearcence ka koi problem nhi hoga

Bike sahi me bhaut accha but 5.6 or 5.7 ka leya bike nahi hai kyu ki city me heavy trafic me apko problem hoga and handling iska bhaut accha hai but age piche karne me problem hota hai and breaking bhi accha hai jo log lene ka soch rahe hai to ek baar test drive le lena idea ho jayega tum log specially 5.6 guy ka leya le lena tum log ko accha khasa idea ho jayega

Me dominar 250 1 saal se use kar rah. Mat lo. Har dusre din kuch na kuch kharab hoti rahti hay. Fuel pump, fuel filter, air filter, throttle body clean. Service Center ja ja k pagal ho jota hu. Pichle 4 weeks har Saturday service center jana padha. Service Center walo ko problem batao to wo bolte hay bike thik hay Koi problem nai.

@@shubham_M7777 dont buy dominar 250. I got back pain while riding. Pillion comfort is not good due to stiff suspension. If you want to buy dominar buy dominar 400 . 250 is not good.
D250 might get discontinued soon, and next gen based on new 250Duke could be upcoming...... Guess that's why bajaj is doing promotional activities to empty their stock! DON'T BUY, LET THEM EXPORT & WAIT FOR THE NEW GEN
