My local Audi dealer hasn't had an A8/S8 on their lot for three years running. I'd forgotten they were still made.

what happened to having wood? this piano black plastic is not luxurious imo.

Can't understand that something so obvious isn't corrected.

Now THAT car is a beauty. I even like the colour! Fancy!

Lane keep assist is standard. Its the button on the high beam stalk on the left, you can even see it in this video at 0:15 with the symbol on the stalk.

Considering the reviewer mentions the lack of lane keep assist like 18 times I’m shocked he didn’t know it was in the car. It’s a shame because it’s really the only criticism he had and it wasn’t even true.

I have an Audi S5 and I agree the piano black is annoying. I’m always using a dust brush. However, mine doesn’t have as much gloss black as the S8. Screens could be larger. Probably coming in the refresh or redesign.

A car with perforated leather seats is not family friendly. Cleaning spilled beverages or kid barf out of a perforated seats is all but impossible.

I think the TV in the back of the 7 series would make this a hard sell driven back to back. Remember when the styling of German cars was elegant? The OG A8 was pretty. I'm sure Micah would rather have the Avant.

please do not suggest that any manufacturers make their screens bigger. in ten years I feel than screen sizes will start coming back down to more normal sizes, once all the fatal crash data gets sorted. I prefer driving a normal car instead of a nightclub on wheels with a hundred lights and multiple large video screens.

Audi does really nice front ends and the inside looks great! I kind of feel they could have done some more styling on the sides (just my preference)

Europeans are constantly playing catch up to Americans' exorbitant expectations for food and drink while inside their cars. I remember back about 20 years ago, a friend borrowed my BMW. When he brought it back I asked how he liked it and he said it had amazing handling and quality interior but he couldn't understand why it had no cup holders. German manufacturers were very late to the cup holder game; to them no one who wants the Ultimate Driving Machine would need a cup holder 😂

It has hideous fwd proportions, even though it is not fwd based.
