Definitely pick up Spark of the Everflame. Im on Book 3 and the series is just fabulous. Love it. One of my best.

I am totally here for all the light-hearted romancy vibes this spring!! And so curious to see what Leigh Bardugo has in store with that new release, I have heard good things so far. Also, I am the same with Spark of the Everflame, I am going to binge the heck out of it once it is finished hahah 🤣🤩

I had not heard of the series before this year and now it feels like it's everywhere!

I've pre ordered The Familiar and I'm hoping to pick it up as soon as it arrives. I'm excited to read something completely new from her!

Burn of the everflame sounds really promising but I will wait for your review first before acquiring them😊.

You mentioned wanting to read a pirate book- have you read The Adventures of Amina Al-Sirafi? It’s so good!

I have read it. I think my expectations for it were a bit too high, as I adore the Daevabad trilogy by her, and for me it didn't quite match the level of enjoyment I had with that series

All of Tchaikovsky’s books sound so good but I need to actually read one of the ones I have to see if I like him as an author!

I’m also excited for The Familiar. Especially with the main character being Jewish. Since I am as well I’m sure I’ll connect with her on that. Can’t wait to see what Leigh has in store for us with it.

The Familiars sounds really intriguing from the premise but I cancelled my preorder when I realised I have read 7 other Bardugo books and the only one I gave 5 stars to was The Language of Thorns. I'll probably end up getting it from the library but if I dont like it then I'll give up on the author.

Oh wow! I find I've given her a lot of 4 stars...I loved Ninth House though so I hope as The Familiar is adult that this one will also be a hit

Hi Abby, some great books coming out. I'm not usually into contemporary romance but I've recently bought a Emily Henry and a Ali Hazelwood book to try. I do like fantasy romance. Want to read the new Leigh Bardugo and I liked the sound of the last book you mentioned . Hope everything is going great for you. Have you been doing jigsaws?😊

Yeah! After the onslaught of new releases in the first quarter this second quarter is a bit lack lustre...although time to catch up a bit I guess

ooh, service model sounds good! i need to give it a look. ..and i also need to continue with murderbot, only read the first one so far.🫣 i believe elusive by genevieve cogman is releasing in may? book 2 after scarlet in her series about the french revolution and vampires. i’m actually glad that it’s not a deluge of releases over the next 3 months. maybe i can actually catch up with something? 😂 have a lovely weekend + happy reading! 💜
