The catalog is very pretty, but as a demo I think we still need a page that lists all the DSP together, all the Ribbon together, all the punches together, etc. That way we can find things fast and easy for our customers instead of having to take the time and dig through the catalog each time.

I understand that targeting younger customers and using online options is important, however, the layout is very chaotic! An organized, logically structured catalog is necessary for good sales. Having all DSP on one page, a page with pictures of dies that aren't part of a bundle and colors not listed on the embellishments are some big misses. We need less pictures of people and more pictures of products. The index is great.

I find the new catalog very confusing and frustrating. The product images are confusing - partial stamps, partial dsp. I'm trying to keep an open mind and I hope once I get the physical catalog in my hands it will make more sense. I just don't think you should have to explain to people how a product catalog is laid out and works. It should be self explanatory. This one is not.

I hate the new layout, I looked through the new catalogue and found it chaotic and made no sense, I am on the spectrum and I ended up stimming because nothing makes sense. The first thing I will do with my catalogue is dismantle it and put it back together in order. And remove non essential pages like 1- 37

It's chaotic for those not on the spectrum too :) Not an organized logical layout for sure. But I think I can see the sales angle they were shooting for. Brand new crafters. It's not about those of us already crafting.

I have always loved all of the amazing products that Stampin' Up! has to offer, and still do. The quality, colors, paper, stamp sets, and tools are fabulous. I absolutely love that there are so many "how tos" and crafting options shown in the new catalog, which also appeal to a variety of crafting skills. And of course, it's always exciting to see all of the brand new products...and I already have several items on my wish list! I'm also a techie person, so I definitely understand the need to appeal to many different markets, and offer online products as well, which I love! What are not my favorites about the new catalog specifically are....(1) products that are only "mentioned" on catalog pages and in the index in the back of the catalog (for example, the Bird's Eye View Stamp Set or the Perennial Lavender DSP) but are not fully shown in the catalog, (2) yet there are lots of full pages of people crafting and/or "empty content" that could instead be used to showcase many more products (in full), (3) products, such as the embellishments, that do not have the colors listed (which is surprising, since SU products are all about color coordination), (4) many of the tools and accessories are scattered throughout the catalog (for example, embossing folders are pictured on Page 128, yet the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine is pictured all by itself on Page 56) , and (5) the lack of a pictorial index (which would make it so much quicker and easier to reference products). For example, if customers want to just "shop" the DSP, they have to actually go to 16 different pages throughout the catalog to view all of the DSP. As I mentioned above, I'm totally onboard with offering products online, and appealing to a variety of markets and crafting skills. However, there are still many customers out there who only choose/prefer to shop with the actual catalog in their hands. If stamp sets, DSP, or other products are not fully shown or are difficult to locate in the catalog, it will very likely deter them from purchasing those items. Thank you so much for listening. I really appreciate it!

I also do not like the layout of this catalog. I miss having all the DSP together as well as all the dies, punches, embossing folders, embellishments etc. It was easy to go to that section of the catalog and browse what I might want. I had to go the the actual index and find an item (Alphabet a la mode) and on the page that it was listed it only had an image of a few of the dies and no measurements at all. I look at the measurements of the basic dies, embellishments etc.. all the time. Excluding that information is not helpful. I miss you putting the coordinating colors with the DSP and the embellishments. I can't tell whether the images in this new catalog are actual size like the previous catalogs. If not that will be disappointing as well. I have a feeling if I can't find the info in the catalog I will be emailing SU with lots of questions. I do like the color wheel but I wish you would have included the neutrals. I do like the index. Moving a lot to the on line store is also not very practical. I like to look at the product in actual print form to see size etc. When I get together with other stampers no one even talks or mentions the on line options. i know you are trying to appeal to the younger generation with on line but in my experience the majority of buyers are of the older generation. Please for your next catalog go back to the old format.

Wow...I think is the worst catalog for crafting supplies I have ever seen. If I was new to this, I would be left thinking, "what is this company even about?" It's like those movie previews you see, where you get no idea what the show is really about. The actual product is shown so incredibly small in so many places. The catalog used to be THE place to see the images at full size. I can barely tell what's in the stamp set in a lot of these pictures. How on earth does that motivate anyone to want to buy anything??

I have been buying SU for almost 28 years and a demo for +5 years. I hope that with an actual catalog in hand I might change my mind on how I feel about it. But from observing the online, I am very disappointed in the layout. I do like the index in the back, more detail than it has been in years. But it is so hard to have to hunt to find what you are looking for within the pages of the catalog. I combed the catalog for 3 days before finding the thick basic white card stock.... tucked away in a little corner on page 99. I am sure we will learn the catalog in time. But if a customer cannot find what they are looking for and the demonstrator has to hunt to find it, it doesn't look very professional. Add that with the loss of host benefits, I know my customers are very disappointed. The accumulating of host benefits has not appealed to my customer base. It will take a big hit to workshops. I kind of understand why SU thinks the layout is appealing, but I think it will take a while for the demos to get used to it. But our professional side will show, and we will roll with the punches.... no pun intended.... and make the best of it.

I generally am not happy with the direction that Stampin Up is taking. Although the catalogue is pretty to look at and some of the new features such as colour theory and card samples are great, I use my catalogue to track my purchases, to know what I want and budget accordingly. I mark it off so I don't accidently purchase the same product again. I want my catalogue to be easy to find the items I want, to be a reference source. I don't like the online exclusives because I can't keep track of products, I feel pressure to purchase because I am aware they are a limited item and once sold they are gone, which I don't feel happy about. Not everyone has unlimited funds that they can just purchase as they feel the whim. At least if it's in a catalogue I can work out what I want, how much it's going to cost and then budget/save to make my purchases without being pressured with unknown time restraints. Times are hard right now and I personally am having trouble making my SUV each quarter to hold my demonstrator ship and I don't feel Stampin Up is being sympathetic to its members. I think Stampin Up have become more money focused and less about the companionship and support that it use to focus on.

Totally agree with all the comments so far - such a disappointment! All the things that are so special about Stampin' Up! like product colour coordination are totally lost here. The DSP is so poorly displayed no one can see what's on it, and you'd think we no longer sold punches! The quality of the catalogue printing and paper are not up to scratch either! All in all this is a dead loss - please return to showcasing our products to the best of their ability. With the price rises we need excellent marketing to get our products to sell - this is NOT it.

The cover does not appeal to me at all, but I will get past that. What will be more difficult for me to deal with is how disorganized the layout is. It will drive me nuts. I do like the table of contents and the index; both are much improved. The color wheel and info on color theory will be a good resource not just for creating projects, but to help customers make decisions about colors of ink and cardstock to purchase. Basically, not the catalog I would prefer, but it is what I have, so I’ll make it work for me and my customers.

I'm sorry but I have very little in the way of positive comments for this catalog: 1) The cover is uninviting and boring. 2) It's layout is chaotic, poorly organized and hard to navigate. 3) There is lots of wasted space. 4) Some of the colors are not listed for some items (do you think customers won't ask us what they are?) 5) When I compare the paper used for the cover and pages to previous catalogs, this catalog feels more cheaply made and less substantial... but that could be my imagination and the fact that it's 18% smaller than the previous one. Regarding this catalog, we are paying more for less. It's 18% smaller than last year's and has far, far less in it than its predecessors, and yet SU is charging more $$$ for it this year. It's only 144 pages (compare it to previous years), and yet it has so many wasted pages. If SU wanted to have a catalog for beginners or one specifically geared towards new customers, then make it separate and give demonstrators a choice of the type of catalog they want to buy to use in their business. My customers prefer to work out of a well-organized catalog in order to keep track of their purchases and their want-list. I do have two positive things to say: I liked the color wheel. I liked the card sketches at the bottom of page 22. The rest of that page is mostly wasted space and should've been condensed and the remaining space used for more card sketches. In a month from now I'll be saying, "if only I can remember where in the catalog those card sketches were"... this catalog is a huge fail.

I am a Demo and am disappointed with the new catalog as it feels very chaotic, poor layout and has more of an "off advertising" feel (someone mentioned McCall magazine) than a "look at all our new products!". Not having a full display of all the various DSP (in one place) makes it difficult to see what is actually available. I'm not a big kits fan, but realize this is a great way for many people to begin stamping. I am keeping an open mind and hope when I get the actual catalog, it will make more sense.

Do you remember when Coke changed their recipe to "New Coke" and it was so bad that they ditched it and went back to the original "Classic" recipe? Hey Stampin Up - you should take some notes here. Admit this was a big fail and do better next time around. Forget the cover that looks like a 1970 Tupperware catalog. Remember who your market is - older folks, both male and female! From what I see, younger people barely know how to address an envelope and would just upload a meme to Instagram (trying not to generalize here, but this is just my experience). They want it prepackaged and made for them, and they want it immediately. So alienate your loyal customers by trying to go after a different market because this hobby is sadly not what it used to be. And while nice to look at, don't try to placate us by having some nice looking hunk star in your video.

I like the new layout and think that our stamping customers will find all of the teaching tools and card layouts etc very useful. I wish we would have added a few more pages and placed a central place for all of the DSP, on one page. What we gained in instruction we lost in less space for products being shown clearly and easily found - as a demonstrator I will make sure that I point out the items that can be easily missed and that will create more value having me as a demonstrator for my customers! I do like the direction that we were trying to go with this catalog just wish we had added a few more pages so that we could have shown some things more in depth (ie: Stylish Shapes dies not even pictured) Love that the suites are together and love the two bundles that offer punch or die alternatives - very clever! Like the fact that the encore products are all together but would have liked a few more pages added to show a sample or two for those as well. Nice attempt at something different and I know that we will take all of the suggestions into account and our catalogs will correct the oversights and expand on all the great things that this catalog does so well!

Some great options in this catalogue, and some good changes. The card layout templates and colour wheel info will likely be good for new customers. I understand the focus is now on enticing brand new crafters, rather than those of us who are already SU buyers. The newest in-colours are nice. Always some good DSP. A few sets I will buy for sure. However I am sad you dropped the useful pictorial index; I very much Dislike the new text-only index (customers do not memorize product names). The layout is a bit chaotic overall, not great for those of us who like an organized, logically structured catalogue, so I good index would have been helpful. Also sad the 12x12 cardstock is still only available in mixed packages, and even less thick stock than before. I encourage you to add more diversity in the images of people. Customers with dark skin tones, men, etc. cannot see themselves reflected here, sadly.

People in their 50s-70s are the spenders. Young people don’t have a lot of extra money mostly because of lifestyle. If they have young kids it’s all going to them. Also fashion and keeping up with the Jones. But of course I still love SU! As a demo I’ve gone more to promoting Paper Pumpkin. It’s easy, a surprise, awesome product, and fun. Catalogs are for inspiration but also for seeing the product clearly. And of course putting a paper store front in hands that’s not easily thrown away. (Who still has every catalog?) 🙋🏻‍♀️ I’ll try to help out my older customers with this one. Website is pretty good actually. And if I can learn to use the internet then so can others.

I was very excited to have a new catalog. However This is a catalog that you can't find anything in.. First of all There are not many NEW products. As a long time crafter I liked being able to look at all the DSP in one section as well as the other items. (punches-ribbons embellishments etc.) A friend I asked how they felt about the new catalog said "I think it should be put in the trash and started over." Most all the people I spoke to about it are VERY unhappy with it. Maybe we are too set in our ways but using almost 1/3 of the catalog in the beginning is a waste of time for me and most people I know. There are not enough examples. I don't like your presentation of the carryover products. It tells you nothing about them. There are no colors listed for the DSP which was very helpful in the past. All in all, like my friend said I think it should be trashed and started over. You have always done so much better!

HATE is not a word strong enough to describe my feelings for this catalog!!! It is an absolute disorganized mess and a 25 minute video is needed to understand it. The main thing I used to love about the catalog was that the stamp sets were shown at 100% size... now we are not even told the percentage! Seeing a 1.5"x1" picture of a box is not going to make me want a stamp set... I'm not going to go find an old catalog to see it at full size, and going online is not always practical, so if I was a customer, you already lost me with that. The only positives are the color theory pages and little templates in "A Little Inspiration". I guess the only way to describe this skinny flop is shrinkflation! Let's make the catalog tiny to save on paper and ink, but lets raise prices. I'm so disappointed!

Stamp sets are not very clear to see, tools are not clearly seen or put in one place for ease, Returning sets are so small it makes seeing the beauty of the sets very hard to envision. I can't see how they can say the layout make shopping easier! Did they ask or get any feedback from Stampin Up customers or demonstrators? This is how marketing department of companies try to focus on "the look" of something but fail to think of the end user!!!! I hope this changes for next year. We will just have to struggle through this year. I am afraid sales will suffer due to this poorly designed catalog.

This is a fun catalog to look through! The colors, layout, abundant use of graphics, and minimal text that is to-the-point is appealing. It definitely isn't for the seasoned stamper but this is an incredible resource for new stampers. In my library classes, everyone loves to create the cards but they are intimidated to try it on their own. The current catalogs are overwhelming for them as it's lots of product with no real idea what they need to begin. With this new catalog, I would be thrilled to hand it to them, because it erases that "where do I start?" feeling. In fact, I'm thinking of ordering a case just to take to my library classes to sit on the table. I guarantee it will catch their attention! Well done, Stampin' Up!

Disappointed some excessive price increase £3.00 pack 40 sheet of basic white is a lot to go up.Sadly no Very Vanilla heavyweight A4 my favourite now retired ??? it always sold before and i do not use white for base cards all the time Vintage projects ar better with vanilla cardstock .This catalogue .it is a flick back and forth catalogue which really is not practical at allit really is a messy format.
