2024.03.10 strong offshore sunday surf, great lakes surfing

way more wind than forecasted. kicked up the size a bit but made things a little messy. lot of current & hard to stay in place. better than no waves, had a lot of fun with em. started with my mini super to see how it would handle. would get fast speed bursts on the drops but struggled to maintain speed and connect to the inside. waves were pretty soft/mushy. stepped up to my midlength and paddling became much easier and dont think i drifted as fast with the current. some really fun sections, didnt really get to work on much and was just focused on riding the wave without getting blown off haha
