Installing the paniers go's wrong if you do it too quick and sloppy. How do you tune the suspension. Damping and preload? How is the bike driving two up? Comfort, suspension with a pilion? How do you setup the dash and what are all the features. Aren't the 25 l. paniers from the fjr better, because you can fit a helmet in them. Not in these 20l. paniers!!! Only the lid of the paniers is different.

Thanks for the comment. I suppose they don't want to make it too easy on riders. Yes cruise control would of been a nice feature. I suspect we will see this as standard in later models. Same thing happened with cars... Took ages to make cruise control standard and now it's pretty much a given... I say pretty much as it depends on the brand involved. I have the 2021 version with touring screen and comfort seat and we done 35000 Km, so, long therm user here. * Standard seat becomes uncomfortable after about 2-3 hours of total ride. Resting may help but usually your ass will start to feel sore immediately even after 30 mins break. I strongly recommend comfort seat for tourers. * Touring screen is a must have if you gonna do long tours. It does ok job but much much better than standart one anyway. Third party options like Puig may do better for longer riders (my height is 179cm). * No touring bike should be sold without cruise control. T7 does not have it and it's a big con if you ask me. They are not safe yet throttle locks make this bike long tourer. * Rear suspension is on a little hard side for touring with no passenger (my weight is around 80kg). Little more towards to sporty side and you cant adjust it. Suspensions are fairly stable and let you feel the grip with correct settings, of course if you are in It's weight range. * Engine is fun. I love It's sound but on/off throttle is jerky, especially on low gears, no matter how smooth your input is. This may be tiring sometimes in cities with traffic. * Windshield will rattle and that makes it feels cheap. There is an easy fix but it shouldn't be this way at the first place. Let me know if you have it and looking for a fix. * It`s agile, stable and fast. It`s slim profile will help in traffic hugely. And cornering is fun. It`s a perfect bike for short travels like weekend tours. It's raw form provides great fun on the street and twisty roads. But lack of cruise control, comfortable seat and suspension makes long tours little less fun sometimes.
