What a ridiculous amount of work goes into the masking for the two color paint job. I wonder if a customer had the choice would he willing to pay extra for that?

Oh no - Why not three individual seats on the 2nd row... a 60/40 split seat is NOT what families with three kids are looking for, the Touran and Sharan have these, but almost no electric cars can be supplied with this configuration, very strange for such a familiy car as this ??

Yes, afik a 'California Buzz' model is in the pipe. Still, T6/T7 campers are moneymakers, so, no rush for Volkswagon.

Fascinating manufacturing process. The Buzz looks a little disappointing to me, even boring. Great to watch but no buy this one.

@@Jonesy781 I’ve opened them now and even with rose coloured glasses the only similarity is the VW badge. The T6 is a commercial vehicle for parcel delivery.

Tesla can make a car in 10 hours, VW says they takes 30. How many hours does it take them to make an ID Buzz? 100? What a ridiculous amount of manual intervention!

@@tylerdurden3788 That was somewhat true five or more years ago but now the Tesla’s cars are perfect and extremely long lasting with no maintenance. Meanwhile VW is still known to make unreliable cars that need costly maintenance and don’t last. Resale value after five years is abysmal.
