Fowler is on a comeback trail from way down the rankings so he should be proud of his performance and be positive about this week. Mcilroy just needs to put four rounds together and he’ll win another major, he is the best player in the world. He’s capable of doing things no other player is able to do. Golf has never been so competitive as now, with so many players more than capable of winning each week.
Ricky must have thought he was playing mini-golf with those crazy bunker shots!
Thats what I love about the the US open. Only golfers can appreciate how great these guys are. 35 yard bunker shots rolling within 5 feet of the pin when they’re chipping onto concrete. These setups are truly absurd and the person with the most magic wins. Can’t imagine how frustrating itd be to play on those greens.
I was pulling for Ricky to win. He played some really good golf but just couldn't get it done. I will be pulling for Ricky at the Open next month and hopefully he'll get it done there. I'm glad it was an American that won our national championship. GO USA!

What the hell was that noise in the background all day? Was it a blimp hovering over the course all day?

I saw a report that there was a plane dragging a banner around the course every day. Apparently the flight rules say the min altitude is 1000 ft, so he wasn't doing anything illegal. Pretty damn annoying! I'm not sure who was advertising on the banner, but I would like to tell them to F-off.
Well done Clark, Rory bottles another major. Didnt make a put from 7ft over the last 30 holes. Cant see him winning another until he sorts that out.
I love the no tee on par 3s by Clark. I do that as a power move in my weekly league. Almost the same thing right?

I'd have bet my life savings he would puke all over himself.
What a lack luster US Open
Happy to see Clark win it. I thought for sure Rory would win it when Ricky slipped. I don't think many thought Clark could pull it off. I'm sure Rory thought that Clark "stole it". With that said, I'm happy to see Rory come in 2nd place. Was hoping Ricky would play better but he did set a record.
Rickie kinda blew it.

Kinda? 🙃😞
Really wanted to see Ricky win but still great to see him back in form and I think he’ll improve upon his performances going forward.
Guys, it’s NEVER Rickie’s day the final round of a major
I was rooting for Ricky, but it wasn't his day. If Rory had made any putts today, he would've won. That said, congrats to Clark.

Glad rory didn't win it. He gets alot of attention, but there are many, many other amazing very good players on the tour that deserve that attention. Time for a new generation.

@@CoopMauKona. Rory gets attention for the same reason Tom Watson, Lee Trevino, Greg Norman got attention when they played the Tour. 23 Tour wins, 4 majors and consistently being one of the best players in the world over his career will get attention.
Bad vibe for some reason this year. Really seems to exclusive as far as the fans who attended. While the poverty levels have increased significantly and the gap between middle class and upper class widens, most people are not in the mood to watch a exclusive venue like this. Golf is for everyone
Where are the fans?
Sad for Rick.. again
Man did Rickie choke
19:05 thats why he doesnt and he cant win :)
WheeEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! omfGAWD
LA Country Club is a beautiful course but a complete failure as a US open venue. The fairways and greens were so forgiving and soft. Same for everyone...but too bad if you love the US Open

Well, it had some bite today. Only 25% of the field broke par today so it made for a nail biter coming down the stretch.
Clark cheated on the 1st hole round 4. Took 2 clubs to his ball in the greenside rough...tapped the grass down behind the ball with one club improving his lie...then hit the other club. Blatent cheating. Doesnt matter if the ball moved or not if you improve your lie. He didnt just place the club behind the ball...he literally tapoed it down behindnthe ball in the rough giving himself a better chance at clean contact.
Ricky AF
Over rated Ricky. Why do people love this dude? Because he wears orange puma? 😆
