Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Just a quick walk around of my brand new Triumph Tiger 1200 GT Explorer. My dealer said it is the first one in private hands in the USA. It's Mine, all MINE!!! 👍🤗

The Rally Explorer is a TALL bike!!! For me, the GT Explorer is perfect here in New England, The Rally will be perfect for you if you have serious off road places to ride. Look into the SW-Motech semi rigid panniers. They are the best and safer than hard cases off road. Everything SW-Motech is the best you can get PERIOD! Thanks for watching, congrats on the new bike and be SAFE out there friend! Peace. 👍👌🤙✌🖖👋🙂

My new 2023 GT Explorer didn't need the risers for the bars. My 2020 did and I got them from SW-Motech. They have a ton of accessories for the previous Tigers.

Have you tried out the SW Motech Panniers? The mounts dont look as solid as the Touratech or Givi but seems like a better solution.

Since I don't do any off road except the occasional dirt road, I prefer the rigidity and security of the Triumph/GIVI hard cases. Although everything else is SW-Motech such as the Top Case and Tank Bag.

I have the same bike, just had first 600 mile service, what a machine, I love it. A bit too tall for me 29” inseam, but I don’t care , I’ll manage. Triumph in uk were prepared to fit upper protection bars on first service free but I couldn’t wait so done it myself, there’s only about 6 screws that hold the side panels on, it’s not that difficult just be careful with the plastics

Your bike looks black. Very good looking. I did not know they offered black in that line. I have only seen blue and white. Is that a special order?

No, Black is a standard color. Initially the bike was ordered blue back in March 2022 but I had it changed to black.

Great video, I found the comparison quite relevant as I have had an XCa in the past. Look forward to a test ride to see how much the weight savings affect the top heavy feel. Do you find with the bigger tank and front set-up that there is a god amount of wind protection on your lower half?

Thank you! The new Tiger GT Explorer is completely different 100% than the previous Tigers. My new one handles like it's on rails. The cockpit and riding position is radically different and perfect in every way. The Showa suspension is Superior than the previous WP setup. The wind protection is better by far. Cheers!

Nice little walk-around mate.. What make is your screen adapter..? Test rode the Rally Explorer today (Australia) and found I would need the adapter to take away the slight bufferting even on highest screen position.. Original Triumph one looks a little flimsy (and not cheap), whereas yours is full width - looks much better... 👍🏻

It's the MRA X-Creen Sport. It's the best spoiler out there. It's infinitely adjustable and deflects the air about 2 feet above your head with the wind screen all the way down. Get the universal mounting kit. Mine simply clamps on the factory wind screen. Thanks for watching! Ride SAFE! 👌

Great video. Great information. Are the upper and lower engine guards from Triumph? Can you get them in black as well. Also who makes that windshield wind deflector?

  • @ttrguy9952

Thank you for the comment! The lower guards come standard and Triumph sells the upper guards separately. I believe they are the same as the ones on the Rally Explorer. Depending on your ability. I'm 5'6", I use the factory "low" seat set at it's lowest position in 'off road' mode. I still can't flat foot the bike. Close but not quite. I would strongly suggest you check out the 900 instead. It feels like it weighs a ton less both on and off the bike and is an absolute hoot to ride on twisty roads.

It comes with a small one from the factory and covers the bottom of the crank case. I bought the optional one that is the same as the one on the Rally version. It keeps road grime off my pipes and adds a lot more protection. The GT models are more road oriented so Triumph kept the skid plates small. Ride SAFE!

Bigger tank I have found not an issue because the bike is 55 pounds lighter. The wind setup is great! I added the MRA X-Creen to give high wind over my helmet.
