Just got a 2024 TRD off-road. Loving it so far. Still have my 2014 SR5 and love it. 267k miles and I would not hesitate to drive it from my home in houston up to Alaska. That being said, it was time to make it strictly a work truck on the property here. I just subbed to your channel. Looking forward to learning more about my new ride.

I always wondered about mpg in Sport mode. Thanks for the review Mark. I am usually in Normal mode however I do go into Sport mode the last 30 miles before a fill up. I do like the Sport mode. I’ll have to see if I get what you got in Sport mode. However I tend to drive a little bit faster more into the 70-75 range with a sprinkle of 80 to pass slower moving vehicles.

‘22 Platinum. I got it in May of ‘22. I used Eco for most of that time. I Drive in ‘comfort’ mode and I have seen 22.3 MPG a few times on my drive 21 mile drive to work. Comfort mode seems like sport mode a bit. Tense like you stated. I also have “sport s +” mode and that mode is scary.

My f150 V8 has normal, eco, Sport, ice/snow, mud and tow/haul. Typically I use normal. Using Sport mode is holy shit fun. Tow haul is great especially if your in hilly back country or interstates. Regardless of brand, learning how the different modes change settings will help you be a smarter driver for the conditions you are experiencing.
