To me, currently i think there are propably 2 bikes that i dont really like. Kawasaki 650cc bikes are just so booring, they do everything but the engine is just so flat. The other one is BMW RnineT, they look cool but to me it is the handling on them, front feel is so heavy and transmission on them just simply put sucks.

I was waiting for this one. This is probably my first pick for my first ADV bike following my overall first bike, which is a Spartvilen 401. I really like how Suzuki worked things out. Everything is well put together, including the tail rack that doesn't look tacked there like on a Kawasaki. It doesn't look like an after tought, is what i'm saying. I'm really tempted. At the same time, is it *too* tamed? Will I get bored by a *too* perfect bike? I need to get a test ride...

@@americandude3825 ironically, I also rode a V1000 at a demo event last year in Yuba City, CA. Loved it. Although, coming off of my 2022 KLR, I had to use a lot more countersteer on the V.

I also experienced a vibration, at ca 5000 rpm, when testing the bike. It was a tingling in my feets from the foot pegs and it was actually so much vibration that it’s a showstopper for me. It was very noticeable vibrations with my boots. Could be not a problem for other people, but for me it was. At the highways where I live it´s around 70-75 MPH, I believe right in the "vibration rpm" of ca 5000-5500 RPM? Very unfortunate, because IMO the bike was otherwise great. And also great looking bike, to boot.

Direct competitor to CFMoto Ibex.. Seriously as a former owner of a CFMoto.. Please don't compare as far as I am concerned Chinese CFMoto Trash to Suzuki. Sorry not Sorry. CFMoto for some reason keep getting shilled all the time as "good" Nope.. They need another 3-5 years of catching up in QA, and design, but they are cheap and keep throwing "features" at the bike to make them seem like a great buy but will most likely fail. I hate CFMoto and at this time I say avoid this brand. Ditched my CFMoto for VStrom 800DE

No cruise means not really a competitor. Plus, like any newer Suzuki model, they’ll be impossible to find at dealers. I waited 2 years on my 2022 MT-09 unicorn. Id’d like to add this to my stable but a Triumph is easier to find.

OC. This VStrom has the looks and feels but the price is where it gets let down. Given that it is a bit weighty and so close to 1000cc (with all the competition and extras in that class), potential buyers will look elsewhere.

You said your IBEX 800t has less power than this. I believe you are wrong there. Your IBEX has 95hp the Suzuki has 83hp and both bikes have around the same torque. I am loving MY IBEX ! I do like the looks and color scheme on the Suzuki though. But man I can't get enough of my IBEX.
