I love it when these youtubers go to a car dealership, take out a car that someone else will ultimately purchase, and do acceleration runs when the engine isn't broken in yet. The WRX isn't supposed to be run over 4000 RPM for the first thousand miles. At least he said thanks to dealership blah blah blah so I know which dealer to NOT go to.

Ya that's occurred to me too. With performance oriented cars the dealerships should have one that's broken in so folks can put them through their paces.

Yeah… not to mention he lost all credibility when he said “radiator up top, intercooler down below.” The new WRX is a top-mount intercooler design, like always. This dude is out here abusing brand new cars and rattling off window sticker specs that he knows nothing about.

I don’t think this is a brand new one off the lot because it’s got a tent visor in the front window. Subaru doesn’t tint the WRX unfortunately.

Gotta admit with the ridiculous cost of cars now especially other turbo 4s like the corolla GR, civic type R etc all going over 50k this is a pretty damn good value

I live in hudson and i stopped there a few weeks back to take a peek. Def thinking about it. Good review.

I didn't like the cladding. But I saw the car in person and the looks have grown on me. I'm keeping my older WRX but this new one has some great additions including the new 2.4 engine.

i didnt like the cladding either until i saw a white wrx in person. it looked so good. i think thats the best color for this car with cladding. i have seen a blue one but it didnt look as strikingly good like the white one.

Great job.

Also has a twin scroll turbo.

I have a manual limited in ceramic white. Its an absolutely fantastic enthusiast car (aside from having to be spec’d with the sunroof) but i wanted the limited seats over the premium.

The cladding may look good now, but how will it look in 5-10 years? This stuff FADES from the SUN. I wonder if Subaru has done something about this.

Reliability is a crapshoot for every car now a days way to many electronics. It also comes down to the owner and how they drive and maintain their vehicle. You and I could both have a Camry with similar mileage and have two totally different experiences with the car.

As soon as you get behind the wheel and press the pedal, and see the hood scoop, and that engine rattles the shit out of that cheap plastic interior, you forget the interior. At least that was my experience, lol. It reminded me of my '89 Firebird Formula. Cheap interior. Nasty, mechanical, satisfying engine. Worth it.
