I prefer the look of the infotainment system in the base model versus the big vertical screen in the higher trims

Some people are going to prefer the two 7 inch screens over the 11.6. It's not a bad set up by any means, but each has their drawbacks and advantages.

I prefer the old school key myself.

They're not bad looking vehicles with the redesign by any means.

This must be a 2024 base model, how is their heated seats in the base model?

All of our base model vehicles have heated seats. It's most definitely a 2023 - the 2024 WRX's aren't on ground yet. I'm in Canada.

2023 and still has a damn key ignition

Base models still do. It's a base model, not mid trim...

I wonder if that hood will fit on my 2024 Crosstrek?

I doubt that it will, but I'm sure a good body shop would be able to make it work.

I would've picked up one of these, but i don't know how to drive stick shift 😭

If you already know how to drive it takes 1/2 hr to get the foot work a day or two after you can hit any rallies

Different people learn at different paces. But yes, it shouldn't take more than a day or so to be able to get going. You won't be the smoothest driver out there, but you'll be able to get around town
